Everfresh bags

Does anyone have an opinion on these types of bags that extend the life of your produce? I know – what kind of raw foodist could I be if my greens are around long enough to go bad! I often get over keen if I see several varieties of local organic greens for sale and I buy them up. I’m concerned that some sort of chemical is used. How does it work? Someone was asking in another thread about vacuum sealers, I’d also be interested in info on those.

Thanks

  • I store all my produce in those bags. I think they work great.

We use them, they definitely keep produce ripe longer in the fridge (make sure that the produce is not wet or it will get moldy) AND it is great to use over your bananas or other ripe fruit that you keep on your countertops because you will have NO fruit flies! WOOHOO!!! :)

  • Thanks, gang. I’ll pick some up at my next paycheck busting trip to THAT store.
