Rejuvelac - Am I doing it right?

This is my first attempt a rejuvelac and I’m not sure it’s done or even right. I’m making it because it for another recipe and have never personally tasted it alone. So far I’ve sprouted the wheat berries to 1/4” blended slightly with pure water and let it sit for 2 days. It looks sort of like lemonade and has a slight beer scent. I was thinking it would have a more sour smell and I have no idea what it is supposed to taste like. I’m perplexed. Anyone out ther have any more info? Thanks

  • I am just curious… what is rejuvelac good for? I mean, what are the nutritional properties of it?

  • Thanks for the link. I was following a recipe from The Raw Transformation book and it says to blend wheat berries first for 15 seconds to break up. I think I have it right. I’m trying to make a fermented nut cheeze. we’ll see how it turns out.
