ok try this out. This is just for one bar.
5 pitted dates 2 tbls nuts (I think hazel nut works great) 1 tsp cocoa powder
Simple and delicious. If you like coffee, then make a mocha bar by adding a tsp fresh coffee beans
Why do I seem to think that all recipes need to be difficult? Thanks, this looks great.
where do you get fresh coffee beans and can they be ingested? Do you have to sprout them first?
The coffee might make it not so raw, as they’re roasted at fairly high temperatures. I have seen folks grow coffee plants, but those produce “cherries,” the seeds of which are used to make coffee. Probably not the same thing.
We have some Cacao Nibs here, those might make a good replacement.
Does raw coffee exist? I mean it must, somewhere, before the beans are roasted… Anyone know how one can obtain them or what they taste like? I’ve been wondering this for a while…
I added the coffee idea for those in transition. Sorry I should have stated that.
