Limes for Cleaning?

Are limes just as good as lemons for cleaning?

I use lemons for ‘cleaning’ my bathtub. And some people use lemon (rinds?) for deodorant. Will limes do the trick too?

What about oranges and grapefruit? (I think those would be stickier… but I ask because they are citrus.

    I would think that the more citric acid in the fruit (lemons & limes) would do the trick, whereas oranges & grapefruit have more sugar than citric acid and would not do the job as well.

    I didn’t have enough lemons to ‘clean’ and wanted to use the limes I do have… without having to experiment and clean twice. :o)
