For me, the foods my body likes/doesn’t like in combination are different all the time. What worked together one day might make me sick the next. I don’t worry about the “rules” and just try to give my body what it needs.
It’s important but only on a personal level. I wouldn’t really go by the books. Just eat stuff together, and if you feel crappy, you know not to do that the next time. Just pay attention to how you feel afterwards, and your set!

Not really, ever since I stopped eating nuts/seeds I don’t really pay attention to food combinations. I eat fruit with my salads, avocado with the rest of my fruit, etc.
When I was nutty, I definitely had to watch out for it though. The last time I had nuts even by themselves, soaked, I had a severe bodily reaction that made me think I have an allergy.
