I had a similar experience when I ate too many baby carrots during lunch once, so I'm curious as well.
For me yes, I can only do carrots in small amounts or my belly acts up. I don't know if it is the sugar or how it is prepared, but I do know I need to watch how much I eat. Are you craving the taste or simply carrots? If so try to figure out what they have you are craving and add in some other foods with similar nutrients to help.

I dont think its the sugar but I might be wrong- They are very tasty this season- ususally they can get a little bitter, but now they are just right. Not too sweet.
