  perhaps i should use a better link to present the material. that was just the site i was reading at the time.

  of course, i wouldn't use any of those analogies or new age theories... but what i was really asking was if anyone uses diluted saltwater to grow their wheat grass, and whether or not it's better that way... whether these minerals from the ocean are actually absorbed by the plants.

  also, is wheat grass actually beneficial to us? or is it just a fad?

  I was just listening to David Wolfe in a radio interview talking about growing his garden in Wisconsin using ocean water. He is so sold on it. He is pretty knowledgeable about it and says it makes a huge difference. I don't remember his exact words but here's a link:
