how is your food combining?? there are a bunch of threads on here about what foods are compatible together. also, i've noticed my stomach bloats when i eat too much fat, so maybe look into how much you are eating.
aww cool thanks il have look for them. I guess it might be that as I dont tend to eat alot of fats. i guess i need to mono my food a little. Give that a try
Thanks
OH god, until I started mono mealing and really watching the number of hours between meals (some things need to digest longer before you eat another meal) I had the most painful gas...another thing that helped was I cut out nuts--I found them really difficult to digest even when soaked--and I stopped mixing melons with other foods...they are brutal on your insides when eatenwith anything other than melons...
And just wait, your insides are getting woken up: it can be frightening but worth it
Thankyums so much for the advice! Ive Been mono mealing since yesterday and so far - Flat tum! :D Yes!!! A Raw life tis looking more do-able now! Vegan raw Baby!!!!!
Sometimes a salt water flush helps... (but it would have to be the first thing to do in the morning).
Glad to hear food combining helped you! Yeay.
Yesterday I ate no fats (nuts, oil or avocados) at all. I had 2 green smoothies and I ate a lot of fruit and this morning I woke up extremely bloated. Why did this happen???
What was in the green smoothie? Starchy veggies and fruit together may cause gas.
It's important that the toxins released get out of the body. A cleanse, such as salt water flush in the morning, could help.
Here's an interesting explanation: Matt Monarch's Blood Gas Theory http://www.rawspirit.org/bloodgas.html
Is kale or dandelion leaves starchy? I thought vegetables like carrots and zucchini were starchy lol.
Correct. Leafy greens are not starchy. Carrots are. Zucchini... hmmmm....
If it's not that, check that article out...
There are NO Carbs in zucchini. Most veggies don't have them with the exception of carrots and potatoes.
