Anyone??
pure purple grapes juiced
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
another simple juice:
celery, ginger, pears, mint
I've just got a juicer and been enjoying trying out different combinations. I got Jason Vale's 'Keeping it Simple' book free with it, which was handy. He has a juice which he says is like rose wine which I'm dying to try. I think it's just white and red grapes juiced, then adding a bit of mineral/filtered water.
I've been having a different juice every day and sometimes I'll juice first then blend in some spinach, an avocado, berries, ice to make it a bit thicker, creamier, etc.
I want to get a juicer too. But is green smoothies better or green juices?
They both have their merits. Green smoothies have all the fiber. Green juices don't have the fiber which makes it quicker and easier to digest. I do green smoothies on a daily basis and want to start adding some juices as well.
Thanks for the suggestions. Fresh grape juice sounds lovely and simple

wichten, those look great! thanks!! :-)
yeah i'm thinking about stopping by the juice bar and getting an apple/kale on my way home from work now. ive been craving one since i typed this (and am feeling lazy about making it)
on juicers - we have one, and it is now put away in our cupboard. We have a $50 oster blender and it actually blends juices i would say as good as the juicer.. just cut up the vegetable or fruit small enough and throw it in. I didn't realize till my fiancee tried it that it can even do carrots. I guess you get the pulp too, but that's ok with me. and grapes you definitely just need to throw in the blender. We've made some awesome juices lately..
Marvelous Melon
Honeydew Melon
Small bit of ginger - diced
Blueberries
Spinach/Greens
Apple
Cinnamon
Ginger
and i wish i could remember this one my fiancee made. All i know is it was a green variety with tomatillos.
My favorite juice of all time! I even posted on my blog because I think EVERYONE should enjoy it!
4 celery sticks
1/4 lemon (with peel)
1/4 inch ginger
2 gala apples
2 leaves of dinosaur kale
juice and blend for 26 seconds (vitamix is 15 seconds) with 6 ice cubes and a rounded tsp. of Spirulina!! :)
Wichten, thanks for those juice ideas although I'm curious why the first one on the list is called 'almost chocolate milk'? Can't imagine it tastes anything like it.
(I do love apple/carrot juice tho!)
i swear it reminds me a bit of chocolate milk, its smooth, sweet and dare i say it... a bit creamy. and an odd orange/brown color to boot. Fall is the best time to make it, b/c the carrots are so sweet right now.
rawaholic that sounds awesome!! i will make that this week :)
I prefer juicing over smoothies due to the ease of digesting. It's such a quick source of energy!
My favorite juice right now (because its seasonal) is:
1/2 pineapple
3/4 container of strawberries (the medium size... one or two pounds)
tid bit of ginger
2 peaches
2 oranges
Uuuhhhhh.... it is so good. I can even through in a handful of spinach and not compromise the flavor! It is great without the peaches as well. Peaches get pricey so to cut back on the cost I'll just double up on the oranges.
My only problem is that I pound it so damn fast! Maybe if I put it in a fancy glass I would take my time! :)
Cheers and good health!
My favorite juice of all time is the simple and delicious carrot-apple combo.
I can never get enough.
