Getting ready to carve a pumpkin - how best to eat these seeds?

In my past pre-raw life I know how to take care of these seeds - but I can't find any directions. Can I just clean them and dry naturally or do they dehydrate? If I do need to dehydrate them does anybody have any directions?

Thanks all!

I've just used a pumpkin this weekend for a couple of things and I saved the seeds. I washed them, then soaked overnight, then dehydrated for a couple of hours. Haven't got a clue if this was the best thing to do or not, but went with what I normally do for other nuts/seeds. Now I just need to decide what to make with them!

  • Thanks for the tip! So just let it soak in water overnight and then toss it in dried for a couple hours? Sounds like something I can do - I'm new to raw so this is actually the first thing I'm 'preparing'. I've been wanting to eat more seeds so this might just do it! :)

Is there any way to eat part of the pumpkin itself?

Oh yeah, I am really pleased with the things I made with my pumpkin!

Pumpkin Pecan Cinnamon Cranberry Spelt Tea Cakes (http://goneraw.com/node/16340)

    and

    Pumpkin Bread (http://goneraw.com/node/4237)

    Would def recommend!
