    Hi Lauroli,

My name is Riza. I'm from Canada, a certified organic skincare formulator who also happens to have sensitive, itchy, and dry skin. Your boyfriend's skin barrier might be damaged. In that case, he needs to start with a skin reset plan.

Hydration from the inside and out is vital. Drink plenty of water, use warm (not hot) water and limit bath time, and most especially, use a humidifier.

Be sure to avoid these things too:

    - using a harsh cleanser
    - washing too often
    - exfoliating too much
    - using the wrong moisturizer for your skin type

And to answer your question about which moisturizer to use, I would recommend brands such as:

    Cerave – Moisturizing Cream
La Roche Posay – Double Repair Face Moisturizer
    Vanicream – Moisturizing Lotion
Biossance – Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer
First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration

    Hope these help :)

Hi Lauroli... such a pretty name. Please be aware that dry skin has a number of contributing factors. Does your boyfriend have Type A blood group? Those belonging to this group should be vegetarian, and is also known to be impacted by the sluggish lymphatic system they have. So skin brushing important to keep the lymph and the body oils in tip top condition.

Secondly, from my own learning journey through psychosomatics, dry skin also means that one is expxressing a  lack of self love. Is it a dryness on the outer (external) or, say, on the inner of the arm (internalising). External is what we present to the world. Internal is our soul space.  Recognising what our unique body machine is telling us, and by the person paying attention to what is going on in their life. can bring enormous change (as I have witnessed) very quickly. The memories we carry cause havoc in many ways, but remember that dryness represents lack of .... find out what that something is, have it addressed and all will be well.

God bless.  With love and light
