  • Ooo! Suflower seeds are a good option too. I think you need to find the right balance between heavy and absorbant. I'm guessing sunflower seeds would be the most absorbant.
  • I know what you mean about the green smoothies. It took me an age to adjust to kale. It's still not my favorite green leafy veg, but I have come to appreciate it in small to medium portions in my smoothies.

  • Paper bag? I just leave mine on the counter and they end up ripe very quickly.
  • I love the pictures...and that you didn't stop after the 30 days!

  • It could be interesting. I think I would go with walnuts.
  • I'll have a glass of wine now and then. I tend to avoid the rest.
  • Wow. Almost 30 days already!  I know that ground oats can work as a flour, so maybe it can work the other way around and a nut flour (or super finely chopped nuts) could act as a replacement for oats.

  • That's awesome that your epilepsy episodes are calming down! What we eat, breath, wash our clothes with, and so much more really does make the difference between a healthy and a toxic life.

  • Your adventures in recipe experimentation seem eerily familiar ;) I have definitely had a few of those moments. Usually, things will come out okay once you've shown eternal patience...in my experience, anyway!

  • Vacation is always a crazy time for food. I feel like by the time I get completely settled in and find out where the best restaurants and markets are, it's already time to leave.

  • Great breakfast on day 5! I'm going to have to make something similar for myself now. :) Airport food has slowly been improving over the years. I can usually find something to eat if I hunt around the restaurants. That said, your dates and nuts see…

  • Welcome! Personally, I'm in love with Laura-Jane's courses: https://www.therawtarian.com/courses

  • I would definitely recommend a multivitamin if you're changing your diet, just to get through the transition if nothing else.  Can you get testing done to see what your levels are? It might help in determining which vitamins your body really needs.
  • Maybe you could use cucumber in place of zucchini or maybe plantain or another veg instead of sweet potato? I'm not a huge fan of eating most root vegetables raw myself...well, I guess there's still radish... but in general.
  • Welcome! It's not scary, really   I don't see why you couldn't switch out an ingredient to make a variant of the recipe.

  • Let us know if it helps :)
  • Burts Bees have a few good products for chapped and dry hands, with mostly natural ingredients. I'd give them a try.
  • I get my coconut milk direct from the coconut. It saves me from having to hunt down information on the company to see if it's actually raw
  • I think everything in moderation is okay. I'm a huge fan of grapes as well
  • Aw. It will become second nature after a while. You just need to accumulate a pile of reliable and favorite recipes. Hang in there!
  • Welcome to the community!  Bananas are filling and add that something extra to smoothies, but I agree that a balanced diet is important.
  • I like your philosophy!
