  • Nice site find but not every thing on there is natural. I would be selective in what you buy on there if you are really trying to stay raw and natural. Under the hair section and moisturizers they sell some chemical stuff like Propylene glycol and s…
  • I am sure you could dehydrate using the sun -lots of people do it. I have seen people put stuff on aluminum foil and do it that way – reflects sun better. Keep in mind that your stuff might turn out a bit differently than in your in-home dehydrator …
  • :) Your body is becoming really “natural”. It is returning to its natural balance which means it won’t like all those toxic products. It is rejecting them. This is a good thing. Your becoming cleaner. :) Your skin absorbs these things so that is why…
  • I don’t know if this will help you but instead of feeling sad about being single (which can suck if you let it – I know how you feel – it is not always easy or fun to be single but it can be fun if you try!) why don’t you try and view the divorce as…

  • Hey kandance - That is really intersting about the acupunture. I have never had it before but i am wondering if it release something (toxins) that help you sleep deeper. They say that it is good if you dream because than you are in REM and that is t…

  • MontrealMommy - What were the nightmares about and how did feel while you were dreaming? I wonder if they were related to just the whole transition to raw – were you kind of “obsessing” about everything being raw and having trouble with cravings? I …

  • kundalalita! hehe! Well, no surprise that you dreamed that! Don’t see the Zoe post though? Maybe it is coming up soon? :) That was good your dream was pleasant. I can remember a smidge of my weird dream from last night. I didn’t wake up as sad as I …

  • kundalalita - Well, that is certainly interesting. I wonder what modeling had to do with the killer dreams? Did you have an adoring fan stalking you? I am glad they stopped for you though. I will normally eat later at night. I don’t care if it is af…

  • jenergy – Yes, I have heard of lucid dreaming. I was wondering about that myself. If you are conscious when you are dreaming, do you really get any rest or are you half awake? I might look into it just to see if it is something I could do – I am kin…

  • I was always wondering this too…Is how you dream related to what you eat? My dreams are just plain weird and upsetting. They are more like jenergy’s dream I guess – not getting somewhere that you are going – not really any “monster” nightmares but t…

  • Oooo! Just found the answer to my own question on another website. “It is recommended that you take at least 1/2 (one half) as much vitamin C as MSM. For example, if you are taking 2000mg of MSM you should take a minimum of 1000 mg of vitamin C.” Aw…
  • I just take MSM. Btw, I was wondering the day other how much Vitamin C is needed to take with the MSM? I know MSM is supposed to work better with Vitamin C – anyone know if there is a certain max amount that you need to have or is any amount OK? I w…

  • Hey, I like that YogaYak site. Cute yak pic at the bottom! I see lots of yogas that I should be doing but don’t – I am going to try the one for neck pain. Is there a mediation to bring a better job luck into your life? He he! :) :) Ambikalee, I like…
  • I like the Creamy Cucumber Soup on here – it uses cashews instead of avocadoes and I put in lots of chive and peppercorn for better taste and sometimes I add some nutritional yeast. One time, I made a raw cheddar cheese sauce and mixed that with the…
  • Hemp seeds have so much nutritional value it isn’t even funny. I am trying to find a way to get good raw ones to include my diet every day. It is unbelieveable the things they can make out of hemp. I love my hemp clothes (and they are cool and styli…

  • I don’t think there any ‘natural’ tanners. They are all toxic dyes basically which, in my book, does not make any of them good. But nicci mentioned Origins – maybe check out the ingredients on theirs?
  • Cute topic! But I must say I have never been in this situation…never had a photo shoot before! :) I guess I would just fast though, drink lots of water and juices to look sleeker and maybe do a natural skin mask like clay and special rinse on my lov…
  • sharronas- Good luck (and be careful) with the ear candles. Some people say they work but these are people who don’t have any hearing loss. I guess I don’t wanna take any chances with wax accidentally falling in my ears! I don’t think it will make m…

  • There is a really great sounding raw mayo recipe here: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showpost.php?p=39750… I have tried a few other ones and wasn’t satisfied. I just need to buy the ingredients to try this one. If it really tastes like Veganaise, I’ll …

  • lalala – Well, the vinegar is more of a “marinade” to give the chip flavor. You can use other things to marinate. I think you might find the chips a little bland if you don’t marinade in anything. But yes, apparently, to remove starch – you water so…
  • Sorry my post should say “soaking the potatoes for 2 to 3 hours in WATER”. In one of my raw books, the recipe for potatoe chips is to soak in water first to remove the starch.
  • I am not sure what you mean by the vinegar “cooks” the potatoes. Are you talking about removing the starch? If so, you can do that by soaking the pototoes for 2 to 3 hours first and than marinating.
