  • does anyone have this issue with cacao? we’ve been putting cacao and maca in our smoothies, and oh my goodness, do we ever get energy! way more than when we used to drink coffee.
  • drink lots of water and avoid sodium foods (celery, sea salt, nama shoyu, etc.) and eat potassium rich foods (like the ones you just described, avocado, banana, apple)
  • hi sabine, there are definitely raw foodists who consume raw dairy and meat products. this particular site is vegan, and i think most raw foodists are raw vegan, or 100% vegan 80% raw, or 80% raw vegan, 20% whole food. personally, i just finished a …

  • oh goodness… you have so many options! i would for sure check out the raw reform store http://www.rawreform.com and probably add some nut butter, hemp protein (or raw power) goji berries (or bliss mix) agave syrup, cacao, maybe some empowered chocol…

  • i just tried one… i might, maybe have been able to get over the smell, because the taste was half enjoyable and half awful. but my husband was so deeply grossed out by it, gagging and nearly vomiting and passing out, that i just couldn’t do it. most…
  • yup, i had that problem big time.i would tell you until it gets better to avoid cacao and maca… even in the morning. generally i love them and would recommend them, but they give you mad ENERGY, more than you need until this is resolved. mine went a…

  • amysue… i just read ani phyo’s book and dog food recipe, and i’ve read other places that dogs should NOT have nuts… i think it is possible to feed dogs a balanced vegetarian diet, and maybe even vegan, but it’s tricky, and best to either go with a v…
  • of course you are still vegan! your dog should not be expected to be vegan just because you are. dogs are natural carnivores, while humans are naturally herbivores/omnivores. i would never subject my dog to my own food beliefs, same way i wouldn’t d…
  • yes, they are still edible, and full of probitoics! usually i would make them into essene bread in the dehydrator, but you could use the oven on the lowest setting, or try one of your own ideas, they sound ok!

  • you probably have to squeeze it more. you should get about as much milk out as you put water in. i would try a double layer of cheesecloth and squeeze it good.
  • there was a thread about salt flushes a little while ago… basically you drink salt water and lay on your side for awhile… but there’s more specifics, and i’m not sure what they are. i’ve been using a face wash with tea tree oil and no sodium laureth…
