  • Well, did you know that about 45 percent of the calories in spinach are from protein? Dark leafy greens actually have a lot of protein. :D ISN’T THAT NEAT?
  • bitt, I was wondering where that blog went! I thought it was rawbabyalex.blogspot.com. They must have moved it to a different URL. I love that blog.
  • I’ve been wanting to read it at the library, but my library is really slow on getting new books.

  • I’ve never had chia seeds before, I can’t wait till I can get my hands on some.
  • Well, if I’m going to be somewhere where I know there’s gonna be pizza, cookies, cake and ice cream or just cooked foods that I wouldn’t eat, I’ll bring something of my own, like nori rolls and a raisin pudding or something. Once I had two people ac…

  • I’m not sure what the brand was, actually, because I didn’t buy them yet. They also had dulse and arame!! I can’t wait to try them! :DDD
  • Wow, I was just wondering about this, because I found some kelp noodles at Hy-Vee. I think you soak them in warm water, from what I’ve read in a few recipes, but I’d rather soak them in a marinade. I think they’d be awesome with a spinach sauce. YUM
  • I haven’t made pasta with zucchini yet, only butternut squash a few times. I love it with butternut squash, so I hope I like it with zucchini. :D
  • Wow, this is really interesting. I didn’t know watermelons were supposed to have mature seeds…
  • I think extra coconut oil, maybe, or non-GMO soy lecithin… maybe extra cashews?
  • They probably won’t be as smooth and creamy… but I’ve never actually tried sunflower seeds in a sweet recipe yet. I really want to try making some sunflower seed milk, but it’ll probably need some agave nectar.
  • I SURVIVED! lol. I didn’t eat any junk food, and a few of the girls tried my pudding stuff (it actually ended up tasting like oatmeal, sortof) and they liked it! :D I’ve never actually gotten lucuma before, but I’m REALLY wanting to try it. SO BAD.

  • Thanks, guys! A lot of those recipes I can’t make because I don’t have all the ingredients yet, or a dehydrator. (SIGH) I’ve already decided to take a bunch of apples for breakfast, and I made myself a raisin coconut walnut orange pudding, and I’m …

  • Wow, this is weird, because I just juiced a beet today and I’m saving the stalks for a salad for lunch. YUM!
  • Well, my detox symptoms were pretty mild… I had headaches the first three nights in a row, and coughed up a lot of phlem, and got a few extra pimples. Oh, I would also suddenly feel really tired and just fall asleep in the middle of the day. I didn’…

  • do you have artisana coconut butter? that’s the coconut meat ground up, I think. but coconut oil is also called coconut butter because in cool temperatures it’s a solid, or a “butter” but at 70 degrees or higher it’s a liquid, or “oil”
  • Yay!!! I’ve been wanting a category like this for a while :)
  • bitt, the dehydrator makes NOISE? I thought it was really quiet for some reason… sigh.
  • LOL, speaking of Juliano looking like a “hot chick,” when I was flipping through his book RAW that I just rented at the library, my brothers came over and were like, “I thought you said he was a guy!”
