  • I will have to check both of them out, thanks :) I’m thinking that even if it does have a crust I might be able to make little individual size servings in muffin tins(or even minimuffin tins) I saw the Caramel Brownie dreams, they look good too but …

  • As to the gaining weight, I would pick 2-3 items I week that were Ok in the past and slowly incorporate them back in your diet. I do very well on small doses of protein(usually animal based) and avoid grains(wheat sensitive). Take it in very small s…
  • If you are having most of the GI issues from fruit, have you checked with Dr yet? Could it possibly be candida because that will feed off the fruit and cause major GI upset(like the bloating, etc). That or perhaps you have a food sensitivity to one …
  • I bought a small one from the farmers market yesterday, I splurged and spent the $6 because it’s one of only local or normal ones I’ve seen lately(stores all have seedless variety lately). It will be my breakfast tomorrow :)

  • LindsayL…Sadly I DO know what you mean. I had hard enough time when I was cutting back and eating healthy on Weight Watchers(I used their tracking for what I ate, not their processed junk) even when talking to people that had been on me for awhile o…

  • It really depends on where you live. I did switch over to only raw milk and cheese, but it is legal in CT and best finds are farm markets. As to other ‘milks’ the only ones I can do are nuts or seeds(I do like, but make depending on what’s up with l…

  • OK, outside the whole concept of is it right to drink milk or not I want to address the Vit D thing. I agree with veganzraw about the whole Vit D concept being pushed by dairy industry, and worse yet the comercial dairy industry that has to ADD more…

  • Good question, I had been wondering the same and you got so many responses from this post I can read through them and not post my own ? I agree it seems many that eat raw are raw vegan, and assume most others are the same. I am not, I have swithced …

  • I wanted a spiral cutter, but then again I am a kitchen gadget addict. I was able to stop myself and buy a julienne peeler instead. Best $6 I have spent all week!!

  • I agree, there is a lot of use of soy and I avoided it before going 70% raw so not going to start now. It is too salty for me, plus the soy and wheat don’t agree with me. I have found that by really searching around and asking questions, many of tho…

  • Haha, AmySue I love your remedy for that solution. I use kale either cut up in salads or sometimes smoothies, but since it is one thing I bring home from farm I volunteer at I go for the best handful of leaves possible. However kale is just coming i…

  • Philo, do you know I have 2 of those and just never dawned on me to use it for a drinking bottle! I was using it to make infused vinegar/oil or store dressing but totally blanked on the water. I have an IKEA 10 minutes from me, I might have to go bu…

  • I didn’t know there was an actual raw guac you could buy, I had just been making it myself(lol, or trying to since using avocado’s is always an adventure for me).
  • Haha, this might be one of the most entertaining posts I’ve read all day!
  • I’ve had a few different rashes, most turned out to be candida or excema. What I have found works wonders on all of them is coconut oil. Sometime I would put it on directly, but usually I just make a body scrub with it(just mix with brown sugar). Af…

  • I tried the Bubbies saurkraut and it was OK but nothing great, but that wouldn't put me off from trying others. I haven't tried kimchi yet, but open to it!

  • Funny I should read this as I am trying to sproat some now. I already soaked them, and they are hanging out inside a nutmilk bag in a colendar (makes for easy rinsing, keeps bugs off but leaves them open to air). So far no funky smell and I already …

  • I love coconut oil, but use more of it on me than in me. I do well with avocado, some seeds(love hemp seeds), or on salads some flax or olive oil in the dressing. I also do like olives, but need to limit myself or they can be dangerous!
