  • Why don’t you just carry the nuts around in a mason jar all day and change the water periodically. It be cheaper. James

  • Thanks Veganman, I checked out your website to it looks great. How do you plan to get around the almond pasteurization issue?

  • Canned corn is def not raw. But fresh corn on th cob is. Just take a sharp knife and slice it down the length to pop off the kernels. Even before I was raw I much preferred the taste to raw corn to cooked. James

  • That makes sense. Our bodies are super! Mono dieting really seems like the way to go. Was it hard for you go start? Did you transition into it from something before? James
  • Welcome Audrey! Sounds like you are pretty knowledgeable about raw foods! What is your opinion on super foods? James
  • Have you tried a fast? Alot of toxins are stored in our bodies and fasting will eliminate them and you lose weight. Before I went 100% raw, I was vegan for almost 2 years and about 80% raw for a few months. I water fasted for 6 days and lost 20 lbs.…

  • I gather greens in the summer often. Forest understory like garlic mustard and wood sorrel and ones that grow in the stream behind my house like water cress. I’ve never had a problem with tape worms. I don’t know if this is any help, but before I we…
  • I don’t know about the nutritional value Gabe, but boxed juice usually isn’t raw. Is the box labeled as raw? I don’t know how much of a concern that is I just thought I’d let you know. James

  • I’ve heard about these before and I and don’t really see the appeal. Colonics are an unnatural process and someone who is on a natural diet shouldn’t need to have one done in my opinion. There are no colon clinics in nature. I totally agree with you…
  • I bought some raw peanuts and made peanut butter once. I still have most of it in my fridge. It gave me mucous whenever I ate any and it didn’t even taste that good. Peanuts are really hard to digest too. because they are part of the legume family. …

  • Hey man. Most vegetarians are super worried about protein but many get too much. You only need about 10-15% protein in your diet and most fruit and veggies have that in them. Supplemented with some nuts, you should have no trouble getting the protei…
  • Get your hands on a copy of “Nature’s First Law” by David Wolfe, Stephen Arlin and Fouad Dini. Its is by far the best raw book I have read and explains everything you need to know regarding the theories of raw foodism.
  • Mine are young coconuts. I rarely get them here, I have to go down to the city but they are heavenly a pack so much energy!
  • I would reccomend a big smoothie in the morning. Smoothies won’t make you tired from chewing and you can load them up with super foods, fruits and greens for everything you need. In my expirience dried fruit is not something I would recomend for rig…
  • Thanks for the support. I did some research and I found that some dried fruit I have been eating has been subjected to higher temperatures. That is probably what does it. Same with cashews. That’s good news though; my body is getting tuned into what…
