  • just because she doesn't test positive for food allergies doesn't mean it isn't affecting her reaction. you could try a diet of bananas and avocados for a day or two and see if there is improvements. then add things in. it has to be one of the follo…
  • After you have been raw for a while and you start to reap the amazing benefits, you can spin it as a cool new diet. Because that's what it is! It really is great that your doing this and part of a community, hopefully it will rub off on some of them…

  • 80-10-10 refers to the percentages balanced out over time. If your eating one avocado a week, or anything close to one avocado a week you're still way under for when it comes to averaging out the whole week, or the whole year.

  • our cells live off of glucose, a type of sugar found in fruit, not anything else raw, although our body can manufacture it from other sources. it was probably the minerals which were giving you the buzz.

  • Eating salt is hard on the kidneys which shows up as dark circles under your eyes. Guarantee if you entirely cut out salt for 3 days your eyes will look great. It's up to you how much you want to cut down on the salt, but it makes a world of differe…

  • i feel better with no spices, high fruit, very little fat. you could try that out if nothing else works.
  • ellagic acid is in the seeds of berries before you go buying it. it should probably be paired with the fiber of the berry because it has detoxifying components, and the fiber removes the toxins fromt the body. good luck!
  • you could try eating more fruit. it is very uncomplicated. i am doing "banana island' right now where I just eat bananas and leafy greens for a little bit. because i too got sick of spending a bunhc of timein the kitchen. it's pretty easy and reward…
  • Your right, I'm wrong. Fats are apparently great for little ones under ten or something like that. Shazzie has some info on her site about babies.
  • I would personally definitely just give her raw foods. It isn't harsh on the digestive system at all. Its what humans are designed to eat... I also would not give her too much fat at once. Fats are harder to digest. Thats just my personal preference…

  • Some people have no problems eating a big mac every day? I think not... Check out the movie "Colon Therapy" at this link http://www.kangenwatergirl.info/movies.html to see the effects on peoples intestines of different diets... Maybe you were eating…
  • The reason a lot of 811ers are dogmatic, which I try not to be in any aspect of my life, is because they feel it works. Many of us have been high-fat gourmet raw foodists and the irony with most of those dishes is that they contribute to outrageousl…
  • I had 13 bananas for breakfast and then another 10 for dinner. That's all. And you know what? I felt great!
  • Just stay in the produce section and frozen fruit area and grab things that catch your eye. Whole foods are better (not blended). I do much better on low fat and no seasonings. You'll do great.
  • Your Candida really got worse after being on 811? I am really surprised by this.
  • I would almost bet my life that it's not raw.... it's mixed with "dried" things which are definitely dried over 110 degrees. In the food industry, food is dried at 300 degrees or more often.

  • Regarding some of the posts on this thread, I am once again, unsurprised at the mediocrity of people's arguments. And don't really think it's worth my time to "get in the thick of it" when it seems people are "thicker headed" than is worth my time.
  • You mean you have meat? Or fat? Because raw sources that have a lot of protein are mostly fat. Meat is mostly fat too... Just curious. I used to be a high protein high fat cooked fooder and I found it to be kind of unsustainable raw, because the pro…
