  • at first it will drop off, even for people who are only mildly overweight. it will slow down most likely but continue to drop until you are at a healthy weight.

  • my dentist said to get rid of the mercury ones as they will fall out. yuck. and i don't get plastic, it's porcelain. it does seem like there is a correlation between loss of tooth enamel and raw foodism or high fruit diet. i just got several cavitie…

  • cacao can be hard on the adrenals, taking a break is a good idea. however i have to say goji berries are amazing and they ARE a superfood. good fats in the seeds, lots of nutrients, makes me feel amazing. david wolfe also promotes lots of greens and…
  • yes you can lose weigh while eating fat. i lost 30 pounds. raw fat is good for you, despite what many will say. and the fat will keep the detox symptoms to be less severe.
  • i'm curious about the tofu, joyce. i'll be checking your blog. i have the irish moss and i'm eager to use it. it's high in iron too.
  • although i am still very supportive of this restaurant and i have been fairly happy with the food no one i take there likes it lately. the food can be inconsistent. my mom hated all the food and she usually likes raw food. my husband thinks he can m…
  • the comment in the other forum seemed rather ignorant. i have never had that experience there. they are always totally open about the ingredients and the soup is offered heated (for SAD folks who probably complained when it was cold!) or cold. why a…
  • yes that does sound like detox. try adding more GREENS rather than green tea. that will help you. you can also slow the detox with adding more fat into the diet. use raw fats like coconut and avocado.
  • Nope! I dated a non-vegetarian once and he complained about my diet. Then I dated a vegetarian next and he complained that I was vegan. Then I found a vegan who I fell in love with. I think it would be icky to kiss meat-mouth. But it is not icky to …
  • I think raisins are a great "transition" food. meaning, they might not be 100% raw techinically but they don't cause cooked food cravings to come back. they also don't give me symptoms like other cooked foods do. so I have them in moderation. i doub…

  • Well, one of the arguments is that the side affects can be awful. One of the side affects can be suicidal thoughts which is very dangerous. if you look it up you will find many studies show there is not much affectiveness for some people. and they c…

  • for me, i don't tend to overeat on raw. even if i have richer things like nuts, seeds, or avocados, i feel more satisfied and then don't eat to large of a portion. it's like my body finally learned how to regulate itself. they are for sure not all i…
