  • Coconut oil should be kept in the cupboard. Depending on the temperature of your house, it’ll be liquid or solid, so you decide if you want it solid and you live in a warm place, then put in the fridge. Most people just keep it in the cupboard. Don’…
  • I really doubt many enzymes are lost in freezing – don’t forget human embryos are successfully frozen and brought to life to become people! Sure, our fridges aren’t cryogenic tech, but it’s a great alternative to trashing.

  • Here’s another interview in English. He also mentions food allergies and diet. http://candida-international.blogspot.com/2007/... Thanks for the tip Raw_chocolate.
  • I just did my LAST SWF!! Yippie!!
  • Here’s a video demo, but it’s about macadamia butter, although I’d guess it’s the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTlI7y5JfDo
  • I’m also prone to burning, so this year I’ve decided I’m gonna get 1 hour of sunlight per day starting in the spring and continuing to summer in order to build a good base. Then whenever I’m in the sun at noon I wear a hat and coverall and seek shad…

  • Depending on where you live, I’d say get out and go foraging. You can forage dandelion, clover, chicory, nettle and others. These can be your green source and they are free. Or I have another plan: do a water fast!!! Or do a Master Cleanse if you kn…
  • I live in Bergamo, a couple hour’s drive north. I’ll be in Tuscany next month for a long weekend with friends. Raw foodism isn’t exactly known about here, but you’ll find wonderful produce and food in general. Make sure you take home some Tuscan ext…

  • I use mine in desserts mainly, and skin and hair. My favorite recipe is raw chocolate – to die for!!
  • I’ve found that even my chipped and broken almonds still sprout. Why not try?
  • So maybe it would be more effect to juice feast all mornings and do solids the rest of the time? Thanks for your advice.
  • I could juice feast all day Monday, Wed, Thur, but Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun I would only do the morning and some lunches. Would I still get good detox results?
  • Why don’t you give it a try and let us know your result? I’m really curious.
  • They should be soaked first to get rid of the enzyme inhibitors and acidity. I’ve seen anywhere from overnight to 24 hours. I suppose it depends on your hunger…

  • I can’t have coffee or alcohol cuz it sends me into tachycardia. Even too much cacao/chocolate will do it. Coffee is best avoided.
  • I have a really low budget dehydrator – I use my radiator! I just put a plate on it that has whatever I want to dehydrate. Is the temperature right? It’s not much higher than it ought to be. Eventually I will get a “real” one, but in the meantime…
  • You’re not so bad yourself ;)
  • Here in Italy it’s impossible to find fresh corn on the cob cuz the corn is left in the fields to dry so that it can be ground into polenta and animal feed. I always have to steal my fresh corn from the fields early in the season… ;)
  • Probably not. I mean popcorn probably dried industrially, meaning in a furnace. Although cornmeal might be raw – it seems to be made with corn that dries in the field.
  • With all the salt water flushes, you’d think it were enough!! I just hope I don’t get others cuz it’s kind of painful!
  • I had that suspicion too, but just wanted to check. I guess I’ll have to just deal with them till I’m done with the detox. Thanks for replying sgmom2.
  • I’m sure you were already eating many raw foods before going 100%. I think it might just be a bad flu and a coincidence. I’m sort of new to this, but I’d like to see other replies too.
  • I personally like beige sesame seeds better than the black ones, but when making milk I always blend sesame and nuts – I don’t like plain sesame. I can’t recommend any websites cuz I don’t buy my food that way, but I’ve noticed in the forums that lo…
  • Hair or skin loss? I haven’ lost even one…what’s the concensus here on hair loss?
  • Fresh figs are not in season. Unless you live Down Under. Here in Italy it’s about September/October, so I assume it’s the same more or less wherever in the northern hemisphere. You might be able to find some imported ones or greenhouse ones however…

  • Evildarkvirus, don’t worry about the SWF if you’re starting work at noon. The whole cycle takes about 2 hours max – for me. Drink the brine 15 minutes, lay on your right side 30 minutes, go to the bathroom and stay at home (cleaning up, surfing the …
