  • Thanks everyone. I guess I should cut back somewhat. Because I’m transitioning, I’m craving desserts and chocolate daily, but I suppose I should just make a banana “ice cream” !!
  • Although being 100% raw is a wonderful thing to aspire to, making it possible ALL THE TIME would become an obsession for me – it would kill my social life. I think the answer is finding the balance that’s right for each of us. I aspire to 100% when …
  • I often eat clover blossom when in season. It doesn’t taste like much, but it makes salads lovely! I don’t really care for lavendar.

  • I’ve been rubbing olive oil onto my wet face, then wiping it off with a cotton wad before going to bed. It gets off all cosmetics and even eye make-up. I also rub a bit of coconut oil on my skin from time to time. I usually do these in the evening b…
  • Choctastic, one of the greatest benefits of eating RAW and healthy in general is improving health – maybe even where you weren’t expecting it. If you had painful periods it could be something like endometriosis. I had terrible pain and it DISAPPEARE…
  • But the magnets stay “stuck” (magnetized) to the walls, which are metal, so there’s no friction. And they don’t change the molecular structure of water (which would be scary), but the charge. I’m no expert, that’s why I had my sister and her family …
  • I’d love to hear your comments too when you receive them. I won’t start using them till I get to the States next fall.
  • Wow! My sister’s been using the magnets for a week now and she’s really impressed. They even got rid of stubborn stains that wouldn’t wash out before. Ok so each order comes with 2 magnets + enzymes for stain removal. I don’t know anything about the…
  • I’ve ordered some for my sister (I can’t mail order anything for myself cuz I live in Italy and the postal service can’t be trusted!!), so maybe I can post back with my sister’s comments as soon as she gets it.
  • Activated charcoal works great with so many intestinal/stomach disturbances, but of course it’s only a BAND-AID, and you need to address the initial cause. Cow dairy does it for me, but living in Italy, it’s impossible to avoid unless I stop going …
  • I’ve never done raw rice. It doesn’t have to be sprouted after soaking? Does it taste good?

  • I use it in making raw chocolate recipe link. It’s so easy and to DIE FOR!!
  • I sprout using only jars and it works fine. I’ve tried using nutbags, but the little sprout tails get stuck in the mesh and it’s hard to get them out without breaking off the tails. I highly recommend the website sproutpeople.com for all info on spr…
  • I live in Italy and ALL social events are accompanied by food. So I try to be as raw as I can AT HOME (about 70%). I’ve even gotten my husband involved, unbeknownst to him. Winter produce isn’t a problem, but with this cold weather, I really crave W…
  • Just to add more anxiety, a chocolate bar can trigger both a seizure and a migraine to my sister, and not two weeks ago I had a whole lot and got a bit of rapid heart rate that lasted about an hour. We’re both very sensitive to alcohol, chocolate, a…
  • I always use the same mylk jar. That helps loads. I had the same problem before, then I read somewhere to soak and use the same jar. I was kind of rotating my jars with everything, so I guess the bacteria was getting mixed up. Now mylk lasts at leas…

  • Sorry to be chiming in so late! I’d add that raw eggs beat up beautifully into wonderful creams. Just add a little sweetener before whipping with the hand whipper, but it should be dry (like date sugar or powdered Stevia) or just work in a liquid sw…

  • I’m a translator, interpreter, and English as a second language teacher. Italian to English mostly, but also French and Spanish. I actually double majored in psychology and French, but haven’t pursued anything with psychology since I’m in Italy and …
  • I’m from California, but I live in Italy. In fact it’s not easy finding a lot of the RAW ingredients here like Goji Berries. I’ve ordered some things from the Internet, but the Italian postal service has a habit of losing things.
  • Your clothes are on in the pic, so I can’t see how thin you are, but you look just fine to me! Like bitt above, I too find you handsome! Do what feels right for yourself and put others’ comments aside. If you start to feel weak or lacking, then you …

  • My favorite recipe is Raw Chocolate (on this website). I made a double batch today and sneaked in a tsp of maca, spirulina, and billberry extract powder. My husband didn’t even notice the additions – he actually liked it more than usual!!
  • I’m doing the baking soda/salt combination plus a drop of essential oil for breath freshness. My teeth are great, but genetics sure helps a lot, I’m sure.
  • This is great stuff. Now I have more ammo. Thanks.
  • Hi Queenfluff and all others no-pooers. I just wanted to post that I’ve also had good luck with boiled lemon rind. First I squeeze the juice out, then boil the rind in a little water to get the lemon oil out. I know it’s not raw this, but my hair se…
  • Oh and I really don’t like the smell of ACV, so I prefer lemon.
