  • it isn’t raw.. that’s the only thing, but at least it would do in an emergency. Also, dehydrated fruit is great to stock up on as well. The nice thing about home canning though is that if you run out of drinking water you can make up for it with the…
  • I think everything that comes from a can tastes like a can! my grandmother and I do can (by can I mean in glass mason jars) applesauce, peaches, tomatoes. we stock them in the basement in case of an emergency. You could also save seeds and things as…

  • I love the change of the seasons…. fall is beautiful, and I love the smells and crisp air. I couldn’t see myself living somewhere like san diego where it is always the same! but winter seems to drag on and on for me… makes me moody
  • I am grateful for so many things in life, big and small….. That I still have my eyesight, and my hands still work well enough for me to sculpt, and my feet to walk! Grateful for a supportive, gentle, centered partner, my two rescued feline furballs …
  • and if you don’t want to juice it, you can compost it :)
  • if the spine is really thick, like in a giant kale or collar leaf, I remove that part. Of course, I just have a run of the mill cheapo blender, so i try to be easy on it :)
  • good call. Some of the B vitamins are okay because they are water soluble, like Riboflavin. My neuro put me on 400 mgs a day for migraine maintenance, which he said was fine. B6 ( I think that’s the right one) is fat soluble, and too much will cause…
  • I like it, but if I use to much i tend to get migraines :(
