  • Thanks, Dancin'!!! That's really great of you to say. :) D3 is from animals, unfortunately. I've been eating the same as usual but maybe more greens, like 10 oz. more of spinach and more kale than usual. But still lots of fruit. LOVE it!!!
  • Yeah, it's all good. We have to decide what *we* want to do, not what others want us to do. :)
  • Good job, Lulush!! BTW, I was thinking about you today, that I think it's fine to decide one day "I don't feel like being raw right now" and just have a non-raw day. I think some people need that. As long as it's vegan/no animals are harmed, I don't…
  • Humans have been fine with regard to vitamin D levels for many years even though there are cloudy, rainy, or otherwise not sunny days. Do you mean temporarily sun coverage from the clouds or what? I don't know what you mean. Are you not going outsid…

  • Annamaste, you need more fruit, less fat, less combined meals eventually (when you feel ready - eat more simply, one or two foods at a time).
  • Fonky, way to go on your diet - it sounds excellent. High fruit and vegetable, low processed and fat is awesome for your body and skin. :)
  • Lux, by my count, you don't eat ENOUGH fruit!!!
  • Yesterday I had about 26 bananas, 8 c. spinach, 1 lb. cherries, 40 oz. orange juice, 2 c. strawberries, and 2 c. peaches. I think that's all? Can't remember what else I had! haha Oh, yeah, 2 c. raspberries and 5 c. tomatoes (local, yay!!) Today I ha…

  • Sure, I"ll post it. Never occurred to me, believe it or not. haha I'm always on the forums but not the recipe section. I've tried the dressing with mustard seeds but didn't like it. I didn't even know if the mustard seeds were raw in the first place…
  • Basil is excellent! This is what I was using last time I used dressing, but the salt and garlic are optional and the mustard is not raw, of course. I put in about 3/4 c. water, 2-3 dates, optional clove of garlic, pinch of pink salt, 1 T. mustard (d…

  • Pixx, I guess what I meant is it's not fun to learn that if you want optimal health, you need to tweak your diet once again and eat more simply. I think eventually it's pleasurable, but sometimes people need quite the push to change for the better!
  • I'm getting some cherries, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries delivered today! also have mango. this week is my move, need extra fuel!
  • I think when your body is used to fresh, raw, unprocessed, ripe fruits and green leafy vegetables, it's hard to want anything else; and when you do have something else, your body tells you almost immediately that the other items (with more nutrients…
  • Yes, it is unfortunate that high-fat diets (even raw) are unhealthy - no one has said this is fun information to learn. :) but everyone can respond to the information accordingly how they see fit. Congrats, Neskalee!!!!!
  • 6 c. local blueberries 2 c. strawberries 18 bananas 6 mangoes 4 c. apricots (local too!!! yay.) Also will have a salad with spinach, kale, tomato, cucumber, and a celery-fresh herb dressing (no fat).
  • Good job - make sure you have fresh fruit on hand!!
  • Neskalee, I eat enough fatty acids from the fresh sweet fruits and vegetables and an average of an avocado or two a week. I think people who do high-fat, processed raw don't get the nutrition that the high-fruit people do, but it's up to you. Someti…

  • I barely eat dates anymore, either, compared to before. And cacao used to be my staple when I first went raw! Now I rarely want it and a raw chocolate bar last time I had one was too much/too strong; I had to have something with just a little cacao …
