  • They were probably gassed or some other unnatural ripening process. they are okay to eat but try to get ungassed ones.

  • No, it's not raw.
  • of course, for most people.
  • Good for them for making better choices.
  • I feel and look great. I do yoga, running, stair climbing, lots of sex.
  • I'm a raw athlete. I start off my day with about 8 bananas, 2-3 c. of greens blended usually. Various fruits throughout the day, in plenty of quantity (to total about 3,000-3,500 calories at the end of the day), like pineapple, mango, grapes, strawb…
  • Carbohydrate intake should increase as physical activity increases, which in turn will slightly increase protein.
  • There's protein in every single whole fruit and vegetable. You don't need excess protein; you just need carbohydrates, protein, and fat (more carbs than anything), and also water, rest, sunshine, and happiness. :)
  • I'm not against vegan, non-animal-tested products. I like Hugo Naturals, 100 Percent Pure, and Aveda products.

  • Well, if you eat your dates, make sure you drink enough water, too. can you get some juicy fruits now?
  • I like chard roll-ups. Wrap chard leaves around avocado, tomato, and basil. I would not use salt, oil, or heating for mine, at least. Chard has sodium (as do tomatoes).

  • I would make your smoothie with just fruit, greens, and water. Fruit for lunch and maybe some leafy greens. No salt, no nuts, no oils, no vinegars. No crap. :p Dinner would be more fruit and/or salad and 1/2 avocado.
  • I don't really have a regular use for it, but I think it's safe, and as far as I know, it's approved now by the US FDA (not that that has any meaning or usefulness) BECAUSE a certain company is marketing/patenting the stevia and filler combos and se…

  • For how long? For as long as you want to be healthy. I wouldn't suggest limiting the healthy things you put into your body or just doing it for a while, only to put junk in it later. I don't know about the bacteria feeding on fructose, sounds like B…
  • I would look into high fruit low fat raw, all whole foods, no juices, oils, supposed superfoods, no nuts, no seeds, no salts, no syrups, no seaweeds, no dried crap, certainly no animal products (including honey) and no cooked foods. Eat health givin…
  • You don't seem to know what a fruitarian is, Kurite. Fruitarians eat 75% or more of their intake as fruit; so someone could call themself accurately a fruitarian and eat greens. You seem to be referring to someone who eats 100% fruit. Maybe you can …

  • Probably live, yes. May not feel well. I would recommend greens, at least.
in Getting fat Comment by superfood2
  • You mean eating one type of fruit OR vegetable and nothing else ever? Like cantelope on day one and then cantelope thereafter, and nothing else? I'm sure you can live if you get enough calories. Not sure if you'd thrive.

  • I recommend fruit and greens. I'm unaware of the mental abilities of Mr. Billings, but when I saw his site years ago, he seemed to be lacking.

  • Agreed with Swayze. You need only fruit, not dehydrated, soaked, sprouted, or otherwise 3-day prep "foods."
  • I don't think eggplant or cauliflower will be any more easier to digest. I think you should eat sweet fruit and greens.
  • 2-3 fruit equivalents with one meal? Yeah, I guess all of us thriving on high fruit, which is what humans do thrive on, are secretly hiding bad skin underneath our glowing faces. lol
  • No seaweed - anything salty would cause you to be dehydrated, and you need hydration for good skin. I think 1 T. of oil a day isn't too bad but not ideal. Avocado is best for fats.
  • Eat high fruit, low fat raw. Fruit and greens. No oils, no nuts, no seeds, no salt, no aminos or soy sauce crap, no vinegars, no seaweeds, nothing in a jar, nothing in a bag. Just shop the produce section. Sound limiting? Go to a farmers' market and…
  • Why don't you just eat your bananas. You don't need validation to take an action in your life.

  • "I eat the same every day." Well, there's your problem. I'm beginning to think this is some sort of joke. How many posts have you had about eating buckwheat and is it okay? Should you eat brown rice? Is this okay? Is that okay? Time and time and tim…

  • No, why don't you stop eating for a day or two and just drink some water. Brown rice will not help. Hard to digest vegetables will not help.

  • NO CAULIFLOWER OR TOMATOES OR RED BELL PEPPER OR CHIVES. I MEANT WHAT I SAID. ONLY TENDER LEAFY GREENS AND SWEET FRUIT.
in Banana Island. Comment by superfood2
  • I don't know for sure, but I would think if you cut out some things and ate ONLY and I mean ONLY sweet fruit and tender leafy greens for at least two weeks, you might see some improvement. Make sure your fruits are ripe and properly combined.

  • Did you eat buckwheat or cauliflower or seaweed yesterday?
