  • Hey, good to hear that this stuff can be treated naturally. Thank you for sharing. I am totally interested in body pH. I would be interested to know if you find that book to be a good explanation.
  • I pretty much agree with Jferringer. Every once in a while, i can go for a beer or a glass of wine but the better i eat the more i am losing the taste for it. It is not necessary for me to have so i might as well try not to have it for health reason…
  • I just read that book Fit For Life and it basically goes over the natural body cycles and how to maintain and regulate them. I am benefting digestion wise by only eating fruit during the "Elimination process" because fruit is the easiest to digest(m…
  • man you guys write back fast.. lol. Well i don't know what to answer first but i am not 100% raw 100% of the time and i am very new to it so maybe it is toxins being released, maybe it is the non-raw foods, whatever it is, i don't like it so i am mi…

  • I totally hear you on this one.. I started off with the recipe books and sure they gave me ideas but i find it more affordable and easier if i plan simple meals in the beggining of the week and stock up on that. Or sometimes i do not even plan and i…
  • thnx, this info caused me to look into this a little more online... it seems that it is true that we can't rely on our bodies to produce sufficient amounts or rely on the small traces found in plant foods. We are less likely to develop a deficiency …
  • I was taking a supplement but i recently learned that if you are eating a great variety of foods you do not need the supplement and sometimes the supplements are not really great for your body if they are not necessary. I just got done reading Fit F…
  • Hm never heard of permissons.. i have to look into that. I like grapefruit and honey dew
  • ugh i ate half a pineapple the other day and i feel like it burned the skin off of my tongue, i could barely eat anything for the rest of the day because my teeth were so sensitive and the corners of my mouth were chapped. I could not believe just a…
  • okay well i think i will try the ACV for starters, thank you both for your advice.
  • Good for you Gaia. Contrary to popular belief there are tons of tasty things to eat so be creative and have fun with it. And there is no harm sneaking a cheeseburger now and then. jk :)
  • That's tough to answer but if you blended the veggies in a high speed blender you would get 100% of whatever is in that veggie/fruit. You also get more for your money.
  • ShariV, i just recently started adding chia seeds to my veggie blends. They are loaded with nutrients so i pretty much feel like a cool kid now. Anyway, after reading all of yalls comments and from what else i am hearing i don't have to be all crazy…
  • Well it makes sense that nature provides just enough. I have heard this China Study referenced frequently, I will look into that.
  • thank you, i appreciate the comments. i actually had the hemp protein with almond milk and cinnamin tonight. it was delicious. i like the hemp because it is a complete protein.
  • great info kurite. makes a lot of sense. I am pretty sure that the star of anyone's raw diet is veggies which are not really high in calories and very nutrient dense so if what you are mainly eating is vegetables there is no reason why a raw vegan s…
  • i am not sure about the popcorn but if you are worried about gaining weight i would have the high calorie foods during the day only or when you are busy/working out and then at night when you are just chillin out on the couch or whatever eat low cal…
  • Thank you all for your comments, very helpful. To answer your question have_mersey, i have been drinking mostly green tea, i found a "natutally decaffeinated" type but it is not organic. I am a fan of the Traditional Medicinals teas such as the ging…
  • Well our sweat contains toxins so i guess the more you sweat it out in a sauna/steam room the better. And yes it is extremely rejuvenating. I am a big fan of the steam room, it opens up all your poors so if you have blackheads it helps get them out …
  • Although i have been doing a lot of reading lately i am still very new to nurtrition and how everything works in the body. Some people say you don't need the grains because there is plenty of fiber in plant foods when you are eating it raw and then …
  • Thanks for that helpful advice eecho. I am trying to cut down on the eating out myself, you never know exactly what they are putting in your food. It is nice to meet another Christian as well. How long have you been a believer?
  • I only joined two days after you, but welcome! =D
  • This whole no-poo article is very interesting.. never heard about just using water. Kellyanne- does the apple cider vinegar leave any unwanted smell?
  • hey yea same here. i have not physically met any christians yet who are raw vegan or just vegan. With diet and nutrition being such a huge part of my husband and I's life, it is not the easiest thing to find people with similar interests. i am sure …
