  • Hi fauxsisticated, congrats on the handfasting! All the best for your raw journey! Do take photos now and after the three months, you'll be amazed by the difference! Are you aiming for (almost) 100% raw?
  • kurite said. "Because humans aren't meant to eat grains? http://www.sunfood.net/grains.html" And that's a fact because the guys from sunfood say so? There are a lot of different opinions about sprouted buckwheat, and lot of raw food chefs incorporat…
  • What's wrong with eating buckwheat if you love it so much? Sprouted/dehydrated buckwheat is raw, is it not? I feel like Sweet really really wants to eat it and it makes such a difference in her being happy or not, and so many people tell her to stop…
  • I worry about this, too. I try not to carry my mobile phone on my body all the time. I work at the computer though, too, and I have no idea what to do about it.
  • I second persimmon! yumyumyuuuum!
  • I haven't tried it yet, but I'm in the same boat and I've heard a lot of encouraging stories abotu oil-pulling lately...
  • Hi there! Sounds like you're due for a big inspiring holiday! If I was you, I'd make a list of places that might be future living places and travel there! And I don't mean in summer, but right now - you need to see what the climate is like in winter…
  • grapefruit, wow, that sounds wonderful! I'd LOVE to stop counting, but I'm a bit afraid, because so many raw delicious snacks seem to have a base of nuts or avocados and other fatty stuff. But I might give it a try, though, cause it sounds so tempti…
  • I work parttime at a bookstore, and the most stressful time of the year is the month before christmas. So every december, my boss brings a HUGE plate of fruit to work every single day for the staff to eat, because she's afraid that all the stress wi…
  • Thanks guys! I guess I'll just give it a try then, using very ripe/a bit brown bananas!
  • Oh RFA, I'm from Austria! Welcome! Where are you from? I don't know about a single forum for raw foodists in german, do you have any recommendations? I was already thinking of creating one myself! =) have_mersay, where do you plan on going? Do you w…
  • No problem at all guys! We seem to have similar problems...! =)
  • Why and why?
  • Wow, that sounds too cool to be true! I'm not searching for a flat at the moment, but I don't know any other raw vegans in "real life", so maybe if I ever visit Prague (must be only a few hours by train, Im from Austria), I'll drop you guys a line i…
  • Thank you! =) Of course I'm aiming to eat even better, but realize how far I've come, and I think people who are 80% and up raw should do so even more!! Guys, be proud, be happy and don't beat yourself up because you're not 100% (yet)!!!
  • I consider everyday I'm over 50% raw a success. I know it's not much for some of you, but before I was interested in raw food, I was about....0% raw. What? Yes, right, because WHEN I had fruit or veg (and it wasn't that often, believe me) then it wa…
  • Anyone else addicted to the before/after galleries of some raw-websites? Just wow.
  • So beautiful! I wish everybody would post pics of their fridge, it's so inspiring! I'm not sure I can join in though, cause I'm "sharing" mine with a complete SAD eater. =)
  • How incredible beautiful! Very well done, so inspiring! Thanks a lot for sharing!
  • Nowadays, I don't bring a bunch of food to work. I prepare a lot of smoothies/juice in the morning and bring it with me. So basically all I do all day is "drinking". People don't get that drinking all that is the same as eating 10 apples. 5 bananas …
  • By the way, I browsed the recipes-section of course, but I'd like to know your personal favourites!
  • Yep, I also add some lemon (1/2-1) and it takes away the "green" taste (I read about that in one of Natalia Rose's books I think) It really works, as long as your kale isn't TOO bitter in the first place.
  • Sorry if that's off topic: (is there no quote button here? terilyn said the following:) "The toxins will eventually compound in your system and you'll find yourself dealing with health issues that are easily avoided if you just stick to vegan raw!" …
  • Congrats, that sounds great! Do you notice any difference apart from feeling "lighter"? ( for example in your energy level,...) Also, your daily sandwich sounds delicious! (i also haven't given up bread yet)
  • Annamaste, I can relate! My granny used to smoke 40+ cigarettes a day for nearly all her life and the doctor said she had lungs like a mountain climber. Sometimes nature just isn't logical! (Good for our grannies, though! =)
  • ... and here is where i no longer understand this system. =( Annamaste, when it's over 46 C in Spain, how can all the fruit an veg on the trees and fields still be raw? Or any more raw as when I put it in my oven at 50 degrees? So sorry for asking s…

  • Karrys, I feel with you! I'm 24 and my skin is still as bad as it was when I was 13. =( I try to remove sugar and processed foods from my diet, and started going around 75% raw a few days ago. I don't notice a change yet, but they say sometimes symp…

  • that's great! i don't need to contact them anymore as the registration has worked now, but people with similar problems will love you very much for that link! (as you can't access profiles when you're not registered)
  • i have the same problem. i couldn't register at first because it seems goneraw doesn't accept my email provider (gmx). i tried to contact somebody but no chance - the email addy isn't accurate and my mail came back. (and there is no part of the foru…
  • Fonky, having your period doesn't always mean you've had an ovulation. But if you're willing to invest a few minutes everyday, that's something you can learn to check out yourself! When you follow the concept of "natural family planing" you get to k…
