  • New, eating disordered & in need of help

You should check out 'The Miracle of Fasting' by Paul Bragg. It should help a lot. He talks about How to have your mind become aware of when you are really hungry and when it is just your body craving food. There's heaps of good info in there. I must admit although I can still tend to binge eat sometimes, it's only ever healthy food and I'm defiantly aware when it occurs. So it's becoming more easily controlled. Goodluck :D

  • Sun dried tomatoes--anything else to use?

It's still considered raw when dried or heated by the sun or a dehydrator upto 50 degrees Celsius. So raw doesn't actually mean cold haha.

  • Help -- Wheatgrass

I had a period where I was having a handful or lawn grass in my smoothies. I had read that blending grass makes it digestible. Had no problem with it at all. And that was for a long period. Weather it helped my body nutritionally or not I'm not completely sure. What I read talked about how grass grows wild, and cannot rely on regular watering, it therefore has deep root systems which are exposed to more minerals; therefore the grass itself is more nutrient dense. I still pull it out of the ground sometimes and throw it in. So based on the fact that I had no issue, weather the body can break down the fibers or not, you should be fine. To be fair, we could probably test it by eating whole grass with very little chewing and just see how it comes out in our stool? haha maybe...

  • Vitamin B12

Thanks, I had my blood checked, and according to the doctor, B12 and iodine and the rest were normal. My fat intake varies, usually from 6% to 45%.

  • Vitamin B12

Yeah I have started to supplement. My hands and feet don't go numb as much as they did so I think it has been working. I also think I wasn't consuming enough calories on my raw diet, which I've now increased.
