  • I want to date a raw vegan.

have you been on www.giveittomeraw.com ? seems to be a lot of single straight raw men on there ;)

I know how you feel. I’m lucky coz my husband is raw too, but I was single for 5 years before I met him, I think I deserve him for that long five year wait ;)

Have you considered going to the Raw Spirit Festival? Or other raw events? I think they would be good places for picking up a raw man. That’s where I’d be if I was in America and single.

You are beautiful, I am sure there are plenty of raw men who would just Love to be by your side.

  • What kind of olive oil?

Only oil which says it is unfiltered is raw. They use heat to filter it no matter if it is cold pressed or/and first pressing. I use Tescos organic unfiltered, or Belarzu.

  • one year vegan craving meat again

I was vegan – cooked for 12 years, they were difficult coz I had the worst meat cravings all the time. I felt so guilty for wanting something I believed was wrong. Anyway since going raw the meat cravings have totally gone, it is amazing! I think it is because as soon as I started on raw I ate lots of greens. Meat cravings are a sign of nutritent deficiency. When I was cooked I never ate any raw foods. I suggest upping your greens big time, lots of spinach and broccoli.
I find protein rich raw foods like pumpkin seeds, spinach, broccoli work best.

  • Enzymes killed in the stomach?

I know that enzymes are molecules not organisms and I know that they are denatured by high temps and high Ph, but what about happens to them when they get to our stomachs? Some people say that they are destroyed/denatured by our stomach acids and we can’t use them anyway. I am sure I read somewhere that a scientist discovered that we actually absorb enzymes in the mouth way before the stomach, but I can’t find that research anywhere.
Are enzymes even a factor in the benefits of raw food?
Anyone know anything about this subject?
