  • can we still drink hot water?

Okay folks, remember that water evaporates with heat (100 degrees Celsius), and when it cools it rains. So water isn’t raw. At all. Water never was raw.

  • Detox'ish qualities of a raw diet?

Matt Monarch has a great post on this at his blog

He’s been raw about 11 years, and I think he’s got his head on straight when he gives advice. It talks about detox coming in waves. And also the importance of always maintaining a consistent raw diet in order to make progress.. because switching back to cooked when your body has cleansed, can cause worse effects than before your body is clean. Basically, your body is more sensitive now that you’ve cleansed. He also greatly stresses colon cleansing – there’s simply no way to avoid that topic. It’s really important. Read that blog post and some of his other recent ones – i think they’re so relevant for you!!!

  • Making my own buckwheat flour

Yeah, i do this all the time. Soak buckwheat groats for 8 hours, then drain and rinse very well (until water runs clear) every 1/2 hour for 3-4 hours. Then, you can rinse every 6 hours for the next 24 hours. DO NOT let them sprout any longer- they’ll go bad. It’s very important to exactly follow these instructions.

Then, place buckwheat in dehydrator and dehydrate until dry. Then, grind them in the coffee grinder. They’re a great coating for marinaded veggies!

  • Better Way to Wash Dishes

I have a bucket that I keep in the sink. I’ll fill that with water and soap to wash everything before rinsing. Thanks!

  • Better Way to Wash Dishes

Ah, now i see what you mean by a dish brush. That looks easy to use and is long lasting. It’ll save money – no more buying sponges! I just have to go find one at the store now.
