Using boiling water

SarahJSarahJ Raw Newbie

Hello Everyone. I have been yearning for the Latte recipe that calls for water warmed to 115F. I have a question about this. Isn’t water’s boiling point 100F? Would I be OK to boil the kettle and then add water bit by bit to the blender? This would sure take the guess work out of it.

Maybe I’m missing something. Any thoughts?

I remember listing to an interview with David Wolfe where they tested that even boiled water causes an increase in white blood cell count. Water is actually a very complex substance – think of like a liquid crystal and you’ll get an idea of the structure. However, I wouldn’t worry about it if you wanted to make this recipe once and awhile. It’ll probably be worse to stress about it.

  • Water boils at 100 deg C, not F. It is about 212deg F. Just so you know.
