    Alright, first response!

    1) Calorie-dense fruit like bananas and grapes in the colder months 2) Carolina Peaches! I miss summer ;( 3) I always have oranges, lettuce and cucumbers in my fridge, but the rest varies from season to season. Right now it’s grapes!

  • 1) Spinach and fresh fruit! 2) Mangos! – so yummy :D 3) spinach, kale, grapes, fresh mint, pinnapple. In the freezer always: frozen grapes

  • ZoeZoe Raw Newbie

    1) Cucumber and celery juice

    2) Avocado with raw mayonnaise and spring onions, which is basically raw vegan potato salad.

    3) Spinach, spring onions, dates, romaine lettuce, sunflower sprouts.

  • pianissimapianissima Raw Newbie

    1) fresh juice 2) sprouted buckwheat “oat” meal 3) lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes (well, on my counter), seasonal fruit, kale

  • Okay, I said be honest… 1) olive oil 2) coffee (I’m being honest) 3) onions, garlic, butter, milk, celery

I’m a mom transitioning…I need a raw person to teach me raw shopping. I won’t be completely raw but I am mostly now. That’s why I’m being nosey and looking in your refrigerator.

    1) bananas 2)Mangoes and Pineapples! 3) tomatoes, lettuce, apples, bananas, carrots

  • Good grief. I sat and pondered this and tried to figure out if my first thoughts on this were indeed true, and sho’nuff, they are. Boring, but true: 1) avocado 2) a pecan half with a drizzle of raw cacao on top 3) OK, I can narrow it down to 8: avocados, spinach, romaine, cucumbers, nori, tomatoes, zucchini (Though I don’t actually keep avocados, tomatoes or nori in the fridge, they are things I always, always have on hand).

  • 1sweetpea1sweetpea Raw Newbie

    1) baby spinach 2) raw, cured olives and nuts 3) carrots, celery, herbs, lemons, onions (I don’t keep any other fruit in the fridge, except red seedless grapes for my BF). So, I have to add the countertop, which is home to tomatoes, a full garlic keeper and whatever sweet fruit is in season.

I actually change some things every few months, as I learn to adjust my diet to my needs, but for now:

    1) green juice from turnip greens, cucumber, carrot, fennel and kale

    2) Mmmmmm, chopped avocado and tomatoe, covered with fresh lime juice OR fresh-ground sesame paste smeared on apples.

    3) a. leafy greens(turnips greens, kale and dark lettuces) b. limes (I eat them every day) c. avocado(my main source of fat) d. tomatoes e. available simple fruits, usually apples, mangos, or melon

I also eat seaweed every day, either kelp or whole-leaf dulse.

  • 1) green smoothies 2)raw chocolate desserts and nut pates 3) baby spinach, onion, olives, cucumber, carrots

    1) What’s your most important staple?

Fresh fruit and greens, greens, greens. I made a bok choy and apple smoothie the other day. it was pretty good

Figs dipped in coconut oil or a corn tortilla with black beans, salsa and guacamole. mmmm, cooked vegan taco…

    3) What five things are always in your refrigerator?

Well, I don’t really have a refrigerator but I hide stuff in the kitchen freezer sometimes. Manna bread is always in there. great for when I’m craving something heavy and is very compliant when you put nut cheese and tomato on it and call it pizza.

  • Staple: Green smoothies – my bf and I each drink 32 oz a day Indulgence: Sadly, cheese. I go off the raw course fairly frequently for sheep, goat, and buffalo milk cheeses. Things in fridge (or on counter!): I always have kale, smoothie fruit (right now still on stone fruits and berries), arugula and/or watercress for my daily lunch salads, tomatoes, and a really high quality olive oil.
