  • No it’s not, the closest you can get to it is to process cauliflower and cream it up with avocado and pine nut dressing.

  • do you have any aloe, that would be soothing. Also, a paste made from coconut oil, crushed garlic, honey, pinch cayenne.
  • I would make a quiche and salad for friends coming to lunch and follow up with a chocolate mousse or chocolates.
  • Meeting other raw fooders in your area might be good. I’m also pretty much ‘living in the house’. I think since being raw too, the city and certain ‘normal’ activities are just not appealing anymore. It can also be a good thing that we’re more conte…
  • I think salt is important especially on a raw food diet. If you just eat fruit and low salt foods you will go low on essential mineral salts. Our ancestors also made their way to the oceans to replenish their salt, even it was only swimming in the …

  • I love kale salad with a rich pine nut and tomato dressing, Add some seaweed, zucchini to the salad and hey presto. I love it and eat every day.
  • I usually start at 145 then lower to 105. They use 145 at the tree of life.
  • I think the thing is to prepare food in advance, find a few good staple recipes like pates, breads and salads and fruit smoothies. Make them up and take them into work with you. Soup can also be made up with warm water and put into a flask.

  • Psychologically, I don’t think you should be aiming for a body like a model but instead focus on eating healthy raw food. Your weight will naturally stabilise when raw long enough. It’s so easy to get carried away with ‘model’ images these days.
  • Not enought greens, if you don’t get the protein and calming satiating effect of greens, you will feel the need to keep eating. I don’t see how you can get bored with the food, there is so much variety, You could try sitting down and writing out a m…
  • I enjoy chickpea hummus if I sprout them to short tails, then I will blanch them in hot water. I add sesames, olive oil, garlic, lemon, cumin, garlic and sea salt and blend until smooth. The blanching helps take out the bitter taste.
  • Yes, the moon has an expansive effect on bodily fluids.
  • I love my chocolate orange cake, quite mousse-like but tastes yummy. chocolate orange cake“
  • Hi bluebells, pau d’arco is very good for building immunity. It’s also important to keep Vitamin C levels high. Goji berries are good too. Nature’s biotic is a good quality supplement which claims to help build up immunity too. Your health will impr…

  • Why not make your own ‘bread’. If you scroll down my blog, you will see ‘toast’ in the spaghetti recipe. www.rawlifestyle.co.uk
  • i am really happy making my crackers that are half buckwheat and half flax, if you make the batter quite thin, they turn out really nice and light like poppadoms. They’re on my page.

  • t the tree of life center, they use sprouted buckwheat and quinoa in moderations. They are the main grains/seeds they use raw as there is no mould in the storage process. They would be useful foods to include in a diet based on carbs. I sometimes u…

  • I’ve had this from eating too many dried nut/seeds/buckwheat.

  • You probably need more fat and/or protein in your diet. Slow oxidisers need less fats/protein because they metabolise food slowly, if you’re speeding up too much and hungry all the time, you need more protein and/or fat. Experiment to see what helps…
  • I soak them for 20 minutes and then start the sprouting process, rinsing twice a day. They sprout really quickly within a couple of days, if they don’t they will go off. If they’re just going off and not too sour smelling, you can dehydrate them as …
  • If you put 1/2 cup carob or mesquite flour in the grinder along with 1/2 cup cacao nibs and then grind, you will get a lovely fine chocolate powder.
  • I’m so glad I have an holistic dentist but it doesn’t really help with the dentist situation in general, you still get jags etc. My partner had to get a tooth pulled last time and it wasn’t fun, no anaesthetic just a jag. I’ve been ok so far but I d…
  • Hi, I made falafels the other day by processing a variety of veggies I had in the fridge (carrot, zucchini, red bell pepper, green beans, onion, parsley) and I mixed in some hummus I had made up. I then added cumin, paprika, coriander and cayenne an…
