  • I love mate, and unsmoked is probably a raw tea? I don't know much about it health wise, though someone once told me mate could cause throat cancer.
  • this may be a silly question but exactly how do you put the oil on your eyelashes? I'd be afraid of getting it in my eye . . . cotton pad? q-tip? eye lash brush?

  • i've been vegan for years and years and about 80% raw for the past two. I don't need it for transitioning, I just think it's delicious, I just basically want everyone on here to tell me specific ingredients/reasons as to why I should refrain, becaus…

  • seedless things weird me out. watermelon, grapes, ect. It just seems unnatural, and I refrain.

  • this would be really cool to know! I've been looking for organic/body friendly body jewlery. I have bamboo plugs but beyond that it's all synthetics, and I want to replace them with something natural but I'm not quite sure if that exists.
  • my co-op makes our own kimchee. I don't remember the recipe off hand, but tomorrow during my break i'll post it for you. it's definitely raw. and delicious.
  • I'm finding it a bit strange that rawpretzela is posting because she is concerned about her weight gain and everyone has either said it's impossible for her to be gaining weight based upon what she's eating (even though she is). With the exception o…

  • I've tried this. I must not have a very good sniffer because it never seems to yield a good result. thank you for the suggestion, though.

  • by chance i've been high raw since nov. 1st, a friend and i decided to do it for a week. i hadn't even realized it coincided with the first of the month! i'm loving it. so today i've eaten 1 banana 1 red pear ( my favorite thing ever right now) 3 ra…

  • yeah i can't do the frozen fruit on it's own. though an old favorite of mine is frozen blueberries in some sort of sweet vanilla milk. mmmmmmmm. usually i just snack on dried mangos or some sort of dried fruit/nut/spirulina/honey ball. the occasiona…
  • use tea tree oil to spot treat breakouts or in a cleanser and something with salicylic acid in it (aveda makes a great "acne composition" oil that you may apply everywhere that is really great for spot treating)

  • i'm also unfamiliar with the bamix and use a 12 speed oster blender and it works just fine for me! the only other piece of equipment i have is a food processor and i get along just fine.
  • i have white button too? maybe something like that could work. hmm. they're still in my fridge! :(

  • I put spirulina in my green smoothies every morning. Today's was particularly good. 1 large banana, 1 kiwi, 5 or so strawberries, handful of spinach, handful of parsley & 1 tbs spirulina. mmmmmmm!
  • is this a good thing to do? it seems like rice would be hard to digest.

  • A word of advice, never put pulp in a green smoothie. Bleck!
  • I'm definitely going to search up pulp and see what I come up with, it's more the peels I was wondering about. Potpourri isn't a bad idea at all except that I don't want a house smelling of oranges . . .
  • ah! do not use proactive! that stuffs not natural at all and terrible for your skin over a long period of time, though if you cannot return it and do use it it would most likely clear up your skin. a scrub will cause tiny tears in your skin, they a…
  • i agree that this could very well be a detox symptom. i'm an esthetician, and it is true that any internal cleansing or unbalance will appear on your face, in the form of pimples. pus represents bacteria and sebums oxidizing in the pimple. they will…
  • all of this sounds easy and delicious. i was looking for something really original, and custom to the greens but all this sounds just fine too. thanks:)

  • A really good thing to do is to keep a journal or blog to track your progress, and record anything that really does or doesn't work.
