  • Same here! I saw your website last night, and I think it’s so amazing that you’re reaching out to those who need support. Wooohoo ya’ll, I love it when other bloggers get to thanking someone before me!

  • Yesterday my friends were grilling… they complained that the grill had charred bits on it, so it didn’t seem clean enough. I almost asked – how clean is what they’re putting ON the grill? they’re worried about some grime, and they’re putting hunks o…
  • What kind of show are you in? Is it theatre, dance, television, etc?
  • 5) Olives – Olives are normally cured in Lye (a chemical). The only truly raw olives i have found were from www.detoxyourworld.com they were peruvian and tasted nothing at all like any ‘normal’ olives I have eaten. Here’s an FYI on what items you th…

  • I haven’t lost any weight. I exercise regularly. I’ve been ~95% raw for 6 months. I am 135 lbs, 5’5”, BMI 22.5. I sure could lose some belly fat..more muscle and less jiggly on this frame would be great. But it hasn’t happened. Perhaps it will at so…
  • Kendra – my favorite EVERY is the chocolate filled truffles. They are incredible! The chocolate bars aren’t quite as sweet as the truffles – they’re more rich and dense.
  • I work as a secretary. I would like to work as an animal caregiver. (Trainer, animal technician, etc). To do this, you need animal experience – either through working at an entry level animal job, or by getting a bachelors in animal science (what i’…

  • spinach7 – buy olive oil that’s both cold pressed AND unfiltered. (the filtering process involves heating, so that’s a no-no). Here’s some info for folks on the thread who were asking about what is raw. This dead food list gives you info on what typ…

  • try buying horse feed oat groats. some folks tried this from the local feed store, and found that the oats were raw (they sprouted!) if you have a vitamix or blendtec you can make raw tahini
  • to wash your veggies, use a big salad spinner. a Zyliss spinner, for ex, has a big bowl and lid, so you can wash. ALSO plastic storage tubs with lid would work for that.

  • Great customer service too! They were very helpful and responded immediately to my questions.
  • Get the vitamix before the dehydrator. In many cases, you need the high speed blender in order to prepare some of the dehydrator treats! (like fruit rolls etc). I didn’t use my dehydrator much until recently, once I was 1.5 years into eating some ra…
