  • I use California Baby products on my children. Mostly I use the Tea Tree products that they offer. My son had terrible dry cracking skin and cradle cap that wouldn’t stop. After switching to those products, he has been fine.

  • I really like the agave. I keep hearing comflicting reports on whether it is raw or not. I agree with Luna blu, if you can find a compassionate bee keeper (or become one yourself) then you can be sure it isn’t processed or heated and at the same tim…

  • I have read the MC book. I haven’t done the MC but I do juice fasts instead. It is a wonderful experience.
  • They may have been rancid. Needless to say they are in the garbage! kevin7197: thanks. I will try chia seeds. RawNutrition.ca: Ew. That is not a good thought. It may have fermented though. At any rate I will not be using the flax seeds for a long wh…

  • I still enjoy by herbal tea. Sometimes I make it in a suntea jar and sometimes with just warm water. I gave up my coffee. I am just not ready to give up my tea – and may never be. I love a good warm cup of tea.

  • winona – We had a food coop but it couldn’t make enough to cover their expenses and went out of business. Walmart carries some produce that they claim is organic. If I go to the next town over there is an Albertson’s that has some organic. There is …
  • The water in my area has flouride. However, I am fortunate to live out side town (the town is only 15,000) and have my own water well. I love it. My town is not raw friendly. I kiddingly say that I am sure I am on some community hit list because I s…
  • bluedolfin – thanks for the ideas. That is a great idea for high tea. I hadn’t thought of using the cucumbers for the “bread”. That opens up all sorts of possibilities for toppings as well. Nut cheese, sprouts, tomato slices, some of the mushroom “m…

  • jsorensons2: I can totally relate about the caveman husband. He tries to be supportive but always reverts to his caveman ways. Last night I was making a batch of raw chips when he walked in. He says “Oh look, mom is making dog poop for dinner…” It h…

  • I love the grape tomateos as well. I can’t wait until the summer brings out the tomatoes from my garden. I am not fond of the store bought ones. They taste like cardboard.
  • I still can’t tolerate eggplant or cilantro. I have tried and tried but just can’t do it. I haven’t tried durian but have heard of its “unique” smell. I am not sure I could get past the smell either. I eat mushrooms now in salads and love them. I do…
