  • haha, eecho and i are banned from discussing that fruit.....
  • Flax seeds do that to me as well. I tend to think any nuts and seeds (and legumes and grains and onions and garlic) are inferior to fruit and greens. Fiber is fine. Just get most of yours from FRESH foods.
  • plain spinach or mixed greens mono eating fruit or nothing at all
  • Yep, eat more fruit. You'll do awesome! :)

  • I would do fruit or greens. Greens preferable to fruit the later it is. I've been found munching on whole bags or containers of spinach.
  • Definitely don't have any imaginery friends or beings!!!
  • Think of the living being(s) that died. And how many more you are paying to have killed if you create more demand for dead chickens. Ethics usually win over health issues. At least for non-selfish decision-makers.

  • For optimal digestion, if you are going to eat cooked foods, try to do each meal (not just your day but each meal or snack) as 50% raw.
  • As usual, I agree with Zinfandel. If juicing doesn't work for you, do mono fruit eating. Make sure it's ripe and good quality. If the fruit doesn't taste good and juicy, there's no point because you won't enjoy it. I have also done simple/mono fruit…
  • Missemy, get the fat out of your diet except 1/3 of an avocado a day. Tukiville, everything as far as nutrients in their perfect balance is in WHOLE ripe, fesh foods, meaning not refined, not processed, not isolated, not dehydrated. If you want to r…
  • I'd take advice from people who look healthy. I know Angela lost a lot of weight, but she doesn't glow; she doesn't look healthy to me. Losing weight and giving talks and being raw don't equal being healthy.
  • I think if you eat high-fat raw, you may feel a need to detox from the harshness and acidity of such a diet, the inflammation it causes, and the lethargy it creates. However, if you do high-fruit, low-fat raw, you should have a clean body all the ti…
  • Don't knock it til you've tried it (and thrived like the 80-10-10ers)!! :)

  • No one needs salt. Sodium, yes. B12 could be an issue with feeling spacey. More likely than fat.

  • The thing is, people still have about 5% calories from fat in their diet even without avocado and all other high-fat foods. So to say you ate fat and list avocado and almond butter, etc., doesn't include all of the fats from the greens and other fru…

  • No, not necessarily.

  • Yes, all of the ripe (or soon to be ripened) fruit and greens you could want!
  • Not only do children have different needs than adults, but every adult has different needs as well. I don't think anyone would dispute that, nor contradicted it in their post.

  • To the OP, cut out the nuds, seeds, and oils immediately and transition to lower fat using avocados (1/2 of one per day or less) only and eat as much sweet fruit as you like, non-sweet fruit, green leafies, etc. Nuts and seeds and oils and salts and…

  • You'll find athletes here and there. Look at the "What Did You Eat Today" thread and you'll find some high fruit low fat raw foodists. Others do eat processed and fatty and dehydrated foods on here, and many of us transitioned that way, too. But som…

  • I'm pretty sure eating dehydrated eggplant with sodium added will make you thirsty! :) I'm a high-fruit person who doesn't get thirsty at all, and I run every day.

  • I do'nt have any but I know folks who do and don't vaccinate. I will not vaccinate. I can't believe injecting that **** into your kids is considered "normal" and not doing so is considered "dangerous." How backwards people's thinking is!!!
  • Wow, very cool!!
  • Good work, granddad!!! You're doing low or no added fat aside from what's in the fruits and veggies?
  • And I've seen some sketchy things on Mercola's site.
  • Yeah, we definitely disagree....drink saltwater and find out just how great salt is for you!
  • I wouldn't do any salt at all - that suggestion, with due respect, seems absurb to me. Keep up the high fruit and greens and cut out the nut milks and other refined/processed foods.
  • The only confirmed ones that I know of are Woody Harrelson and Jason Mraz.

  • I never hear anyone say they are eating agave for nutritional benefits, nor maple syrup's supposed benefits. When you compare the nutritional value of eating fruit to agave syrup or maple syrup, it's a clear choice, regardless if one is raw or not. …
