So far today:
Smoothie: banana, mixed berries, spinach and maca
Carrot & hummus
For lunch I have my ususal: chopped apples, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, almonds, raisins, goji berries topped with soya yoghurt and cinnamon. (Can't believe I'm not sick to death of this as have it every day!)
My PM snack is sharon fruit (YAY!)
Dinner will be mixed veggies tossed in pesto on a bed of noodles
Going to the cinema later so will take some crackers to nibble on.
*Need to summon all the strength I can for the upcoming festivities as always find it difficult being out of my usual routine.*
yesterday I had:
a smoothie of: bananas, strawberries, pineapple
zucchini "pasta" (I eat this almost daily I swear--the spiralizer is just too much fricken fun! haha), with mushrooms, fresh salsa, spinach, some cashew alfredo (and way too many cashews too eek), sunflower "parmesan"

cashew butter...and lots of it (no wonder I'm getting a belly, oops!)
lots of raisins
I am not buying cashews for awhile after this last batch is gone. I just can't control myself around them haha.
Mind if I sneak in? This seems to be a good place to meet the regulars. (There's also the fact that this is some of the best food porn ever).
Today:
A smoothie of two clementines, a banana, lots of spinach and parsley.
A chopped apple topped with two heaping tablespoons ground flax seed, almond milk, and a small almond pulp bar.
Dinner will probably be some quinoa mixed with homemade hummus (not raw), and one or two clementines.

The holiday weekend was disasterous!! I am trying to jump back into raw this week. I am craving my salads and green smoothies!

Green smoothie - 1 orange, 1 1/2 bananas, spinach, vitamineral green, 1 scoop hemp protein powder
handful of goji berries and almonds, 2 prunes
hummus & sliced veggies - cucs, peppers and tomatoes
snack was 2 clementines (have them coming out of my ears) and peppermint tea

dinner will be quinoa with steamed sweet potato and turnip.
yesterday I had:
same ol' lunch smoothie: a banana, about 9 bigger sized strawberries, about 1/2 cup diced pineapple
salad: lots of spinach, shredded carrot, mushroom, sunflower seeds with sunflower parm., 1 tbsp. olive oil, dash of onion powder, italian seasoning, sea salt, cayenne, garlic

and then fresh orange juice (about 3.5 oranges)
cereal: buckwheat crispies + banana + goji berries in an almond-hemp raw milk (some pulp included for added nutrition)
raw dark chocolate brownie balls

today I'm going to use my dehydrator for the first EVER to make corn chips---wish me luck!

Today's smoothie was superdeeduperdee delicious. A pear, a frozen banana, some banana milk, and a load of spinach.

lunch- 2 bananas, 1 apple, 1.5 cups grapes
if i get hungry, i have another apple. i just feel miserable!! my throat and nose are on fire. i can't wait to get home and make some lemon-ginger-cayenne pepper tea.
I'm hungover today after a bottle of wine with old friends last night so I've been peckish all day... My friends are always astounded by my choices for hangover foods whilst they are munching down bacon sandwiches..

Juice of apple, carrots and mixed sprouts (this gave me terrible stomach ache which I blame on the sprouts)

Smoothie of banana, frozen berries, spinach and macca
Japanese crackers
Baked sweet potato and mixed salad
Smoothie of 3 kiwis, a banana, and a bunch of spinach for breakfast.
Salad of purple cabbage, carrot, cucumber, and apple, all grated, and topped with cinnamon and chopped dates (this was incredibly delicious), and a banana for lunch.

2 big bowls of soup (1/2 avocado, cucumber, spinach, tomato, celery, and a bunch of other stuff haha) i'll post the recipe
i've been a total soup addict lately. i just love it because it satisfies me and i don't feel the need or want to eat afterwards

Few leaves of Kale (4 oz.)
2 tbsp. soaked Flaxseed
1 tbsp. soaked Sesame seed
Pre-gym snack
Half Cantaloupe
2 Navel Oranges
1 Grapefruit
Couple Spirulina tablets
Post Gym Smoothie:
3 Bananas
One big leave of kale (2.5 oz.)
Half Bunch of Cilantro
2 tbsp. soaked Flaxseed
1 tbsp. soaked Sesame seed
1/2 tsp. Kelp powder
sprinkle of cinnamon (makes it really awesome)
Now I am having:
Salad:
4 oz. baby greens
1 avocado
Pumpkin seed dip with:
1/4 cup soaked pumpkin seeds
1 small Zucchini
Cumin, Sea Salt, Curry powder, Ginger powder, Tabasco
Celery and Carrot to dip with!

Dinner - 1 head of romaine + 1/2 a bell pepper + 4 medium tomatoes + 1 C. okra + 2 medium carrot + 3 stalks of celery + 1/3 of a cucumber + handful of radish & alfalfa sprouts + 2 green onion + 2 tbs. raw tahini w/ juice from 1 lemon

D: 'roasted' eggplant nofu w. garlic sauce + veggies, w/ a possible cobbler for dessert or a smoothie....mmm fruit smoothie..ok its settled.
Guys I became raw like a week ago, and I consume mostly various fruits and at least 1 nice sized salad of mixed veggies a day. Is this enough nutritional requirements? I get at least approx 2400~ calories per day also, and I work out at the gym at least 4 times per week.
Is it mandatory to consume nuts/seeds to maintain peek health?
Shawn, I think it's mandatory to limit seeds/nuts if you want optimal health and energy, and your calorie amount is great! Maybe just try at least 1 lb. of greens per day. Good job on teh fruit. :)

Today I started over raw. So lots of bananas, kale/pear/rasperry green smoothie, cantaloupe.
