    Breakfast: 4 cups orange juice + 4 blood oranges

    Snack: Large gala apple

    Lunch: Smoothie - 6 medium bananas, 6 medjool dates, and 1/2 C. coconut water

    Dinner: 3 large mangos + 1/2 of a HUGE papaya

    My lunch smoothie is really my favorite meal at the moment, mostly because it satisfies my sweet tooth AND can keep me satisfies for almost 6 hours! Great for when I know I'm not going to be out and about for awhile.

    Curried lentil crackers and mango chutney

    Chopped apples, mango, banana, pecans, buckwheaties and sultanas

  • So far today I have had

    5 bananas

    10 dates

    1 head romaine lettuce

    1 cup spinach

    2 tomatoes

    juice of 1 lemon

    2 stalks of celery

    I have ran 7.1 miles and did some leg presses... I imagine for dinner I will have "pasta" made out of zuc and carrots with a nice sun dried tomato (SALT FREE ONES) sauce! & I will have about 4 cups of grapefruit juice.

    I take pictures of more complex meals daily and add all of this to my blog along with great recipes, but I'm going to try to add it on here a few times a week as well. I am on 80/10/10 and find it helpful if you see what others are eating! Have a great day everyone!!

    breakfast- smoothie of 4 bananas, 1 big mango, and 1 bag frozen mixed berries

    lunch- big ass salad of spinach, radicchio, romaine, watercress, 1/2 avocado, cucumber, tomato, broccoli, sundried tomatoes, green onion, onion, bragg's, freshly cracked black and white pepper, and balsamic vinegar

    dinner- smoothie of 3 bananas, 4 cups pineapple, and 2 oranges

    this is some good grub.

    brunetteket, i love fresh grapefruit juice!! i think i like it better than orange juice actually. it's a good drink after my workout.

    1 Banana, 1 Apple, 1 Orange, Sunflower seeds, Flaxseeds, Turnip Greens

    Pre-gym Snack:

    1 Orange

    Post run and workout snack:

    3 oranges

    Lunch:

    Soaked Buckwheat with a banana, raisins, and coconut

    Dinner: (Asian themed)

    Nori Wraps with Garlic Sunflower Pate, Cilantro, Sprouted Lentils, and Mushrooms

    Soaked Buckwheat with Green Onion, Cabbage, Tomato, and Spices

    Swayze, that's aweome! I just got my order of Chocolate Sapotes from Taylor's Tropicals a couple days ago. Never tried them before and I am eagerly awaiting there ripening. I should be getting some Canistel (Egg Fruit), Passion Fruit, and Bananas from him soon as well! :-)

    Yesterday:

    - 1 medium Honewdew Melon

    - 10 Fuyu Persimmons

    - Green smoothie (4 C. Mango, 3 medium banana, 4 C. Spinach)

    - 10 Fuyu Persimmons + Pink Lady Apple (medium)

    - 3 Medium Bananas + 3 Medjool Dates

    rawaholic, you're gonna love those bananas. The variety I got were super tiny, yellow-orange in color, and tasted like a mix between a banana and an orange...like tropical punch or something! My dog loved them too and we had to battle over them. ^o^

    swayze and rawaholic, do you guys order large amounts at once? i would be worried of it getting bad. does the fruit generally stay good the whole time you eat it? i just went on taylor's tropicals website and want to try some (all haha) of the fruit... mainly the young coconut, sapodilla, eggfruit, and chocolate sapote. how much would you recommend ordering?

    I ordered 20lbs total (10lbs of sapodilla, 10 of egg fruit). When I order bananas, I ordered a lot more (40lbs?) since my first two meals are banana monomeals.

    The fruit all doesn't ripen at the same time so I'm having no trouble with anything going bad. If anything does start to ripen too quickly, you can always slice it up and refrigerate.

    That said, I wouldn't order too much in case you just don't like a particular fruit.

    banana chips

    couple handfuls of mixed nuts/seeds and sultanas

    couple of 'crazy bread' crackers (from this site)

    berry smoothie

    small portion of roasted veg

    packet of crisps :-( Not good I know

    stir fried pak choi and rice

    Today:

    Smoothie of chocolate hemp milk, bananas and blueberries

    banana chips

    handful of seeds and sultanans

    buckwheat porridge with chopped apples and mixed berries

    I buy as much as my budget will allow me to. This time around I ordered 5 lbs. of chocolate sapote, 5 lbs. of banana, and 5 lbs. of canistel and passion fruit. If they all turn out to be good I may buy more next time.

    a raw "Pure" bar... yumm.

    1 avocado

    1 grapefruit

    handful or two of mixed nuts + goji berries & figs

    2 kumquats (new obsession)

    1 piece of vegan dark chocolate

    3 mushrooms

    1/2 a bell pepper

    banana chips

    and i'm going to end the day with a cup of tea. this detox business is kicking my butt,

    and tea makes me feel better. so i am having it.

    (i'm new to all of this... i suppose i would be what you call a "transitioner".)

  • also, i have a question.

    those of you who eat persimmons...

    do you live in the United States?

    i hadn't heard of them until i joined this site,

    and i've definitely never seen them in a store.

    they seem to be everyone's favourite fruit, and i

    really want to try them! but i just don't know where

    in the world i would even begin to look for them.

    some sort of oriental market, perhaps?

    rawsunshine, they are pretty hard to find here in pennsylvania. i can usually get them in the summer but they are hard as rocks. they taste okay to me. kind of like a really sweet tomato. i think if they were more common and people grew them locally, they would taste much better.

    and like i said, i have never seen them anywhere.

    i don't really like tomatoes (i wish i did! i try to!) so

    maybe it's an okay thing that i can't find them.

    Yesterday:

    green smoothie of banana, hemp milk, spinach and blueberries

    carrot & hummus

    zuchinni pasta with mushroom sauce and cherry toms, cucumber, and corn

    'crazy bread' cracker

    sharon fruit chia pudding

    aduki bean and veg stew with millet mash

    Today will probably be very similar to yesterday.

    rawsunshinelove, persimmons are available where I live in Tennessee during the fall/winter (October to about January). Sometimes I can find both the Hachiya (astringent, looks like a tear drop) and the Fuyu (non-astringent, tomato shape), but last year only the Fuyu were available. You can eat the Fuyu hard like an apple or let them sit and get really, really soft. They are very, very sweet, delicious, and super filling, albeit usually quite expensive.

    do you get them at your normal local supermarket,

    or a health store, farmers market, etc?

    kitty, kumquats look like (and basically are) really, really tiny oranges!

    they are about the size of grapes. and you eat the whole thing- peel included!

    the peel is the sweet part actually, and the insides are sort of bitter... but the

    two together make for a very sweet yet charmingly bitter sensation.

    and you'd be surprised by how many seeds the little guys can hold.

    i definitely recommend them! :)

    the family i live with are definitely SAD dieters. to the extreme.

    i am still in the transition phase... lulushka, even your leftover

    days sound so wonderful! i can't wait to eat like that everyday.

    so far today i have had:

    very small bowl of granola (not raw, but super healthy) with hemp milk with 2 strawberries

    1 date

    1 banana

    green smoothie... with celery, romaine lettuce, spinach, cucumber, banana and blueberries. wasn't amazing but it got the job done.

    1 slice of non-raw sprouted Ezekiel bread

    1 apple

    2 pieces of chocolate... not raw, but vegan & organic! and delicious. :)

    -2 bananas

    -1 cup blueberries

    -2 cups spinach

    (each)

    4 cups grapefruit juice

    1\4 of a raw pie from daily juice in austin that my mom brought back for me :D

    tonight I will have a spinach salad with yellow, orange, and red bell peppers and perhaps a little bit of avocado. .. and 24 oz of blueberries.

    good stuff today.

    1 pineapple

    1 mango

    1 apple

    4 bananas

    3 oranges

    1 bag frozen berries

    4 oz spinach

    most of this was in random smoothie form. i've been running around a lot today. i needed to get an appropriate bathing suit to wear to the gym. i found a boring nike one (typical for swimming laps), but my heart was for the revealing one piece (it was an american flag pattern ahaha).

    Gorgeous day today (got up to 70 degrees)! Went running and it just felt so good!! :-D

    - 4 cups orange juice

    - 2 apples chopped up in a bowl w/caramel syrup (5 medjool dates & 1 banana blended with a bit of coconut water)

    - smoothie: 4 C. papaya, 2 C. banana, lime juice, large handful of fresh mint, raw honey, and vanilla

    - 3/4 of a large papaya + 2.5 cherimoya + 1 chocolate sapote

    Oh gosh, yesterday was perfect here as well. 70 degrees, sunny, and a light breeze. And to top it all off...ATAULFO MANGOES ARE HERE! I'm still in shock. ^o^

    We could do with some nice weather here, it's still pretty cold.

    Today:

    Basic green smoothie of banana, spinach and blueberries.

    handful of mixed raisins and banana chips

    chopped apples, mango and sharon fruit tossed with buckwheaties, sunflower seeds and raisins

    carrot & hummus

    I'm having mixed veggies and pesto for dinner.
