Okay, so I have been researching water for awhile. “Get Fresh†magazine did an article called The Water Debate in their Winter 2007 issue.
From what I have read and learned so far is the following….
Bottled Water – Bottled water has very few federal filtration or disinfection requirements. The entire bottled water industry is basically unregulated in comparison to tap water, yet it continues to grow at an amazing rate. (quoting “Do You Know What’s in Your Waterâ€).
Deionized Water – Deionized water is an usually pure form of water. Deionized water is so aggressive that it will begin to attack metal, plastic, or even stainless steel. It will dissolve carbon dioxide in the air. If someone was to drink deionized water, it would have the opposite effect of a vitamin, drawing out the minerals and vitamins in your body.

Distilled Water – Distillation is the process in which water is boiled, evaporated and the vapor condensed. (Now correct me, if I am wrong. But if food is cooked some of us would call it dead food. So what is the difference here. Wouldn’t we consider distilled water …dead water?)

Quote from….. Why I Now Say “No†to Distilled Water Only http://www.mercola.com/article/water/distilled_…
Dr. Gabriel Cousens, a living foods advocate, writes on page 509 of his book “Conscious Eating,” “distilled water is dead, unstructured water so foreign to the body that one actually gets a temporary high white blood cell count in response to drinking it.”
Reverse Osmosis and Distilled Water – Few people know that both Reverse Osmosis and Distillation acidify drinking water. Even less know what the effects of drinking acidic distilled or Reverse Osmosis water is when drank for years. Be versed: Water with a neutral 7.0 pH will go down to around 5.5 pH after Reverse Osmosis. That is highly acidic water.
Quoting The Water Debate from “Get Fresh†magazine…. Reverse Osmosis and Distillation tend to remove virtually everything from the water. There is a body of research showing that both distilled water and reverse osmosis water are in fact acidic when consumed – not conducive to the creation of a healthy pH environment in the body.
So, if none of these is the best water to drink, what is? Alkaline, pure and antixodiant-rich. Mounting evidence suggests it is ionized water.(End quote)

The late Dr. William Kelley who founded the College of Metabolic Medicine used ionized water in his treatments.
Dr. Theodore A. Baroody, author of Alkalize or Die wrote, “After years of very positive continuous clinical use of ionized water, it is my opinion that this technology will change the way in which all health care providers and the public approach their health.â€

You can find alkaline ionizers that do remove flouride. (For example only – http://www.alkalizedh2o.com/faqs.html)

So, I was wondering. How do some of you get your living water?
