  • they both have very distinct flavors. i like the taste of cacao better, and even though it has caffience, both of them make me jittery. i also think carob is too grainy.

  • avl, glad i'm not the only one!! my skin isn't so bad now, but when i first started, it was the worst on my chest, back, and arms. i was constantly itching and picking at it. my face only gets bad when i get my period.

  • i love broccoli both ways... same with spinach. i never had a problem with eating tons of veggies cooked or raw. i do like raw tomatoes though. tomato sauce and ketchup are ridiculously SWEET to me. i also like celery when it's not cooked.
  • i think the crust could be dates and macadamia nuts or cashews. that would be really good. for the filling, i'd go with raw almond butter mixed with bananas in the food processor. i love the combo of those two flavors.

  • i just ate steamed broccoli last night and i feel like i'm gonna barf this morning. i'm not a huge fan of raw broccoli, so i figured i'd steam it. i used to eat steamed ALL the time. i'm kind of bummed.

  • I've never run a marathon and I give you a total thumbs up for doing it!!! That is damn hard work!! Usually before running, I have a green smoothie (spinach and then fruit), or a couple of bananas.

  • i guess it depends how raw you want to be. i stopped chewing it a year ago because my doctor said it creates air bubbles in your stomach and then gas. before that, i used to chew a pack a day. it's nice not chewing it anymore. i save a lot of money.

  • do you buy your fruit in cases? i just emailed my grocery store about buying bananas, grapes, and spinach in bulk. do you know if i'd pick up the cases at the grocery store or would i go to the supplier?
