  • That’s one of the weirdest things I’ve seen in my entire life. Can’t wait to eat one! :-)
  • Hey Debbie! Glad to hear you’re feeling fruity. :-) I thought I might need to add some greens to my diet, so I gave myself permission to have a spinach salad and discovered that I really didn’t want it after all! A nonsweet fruit salad was more appe…

  • Hey guys, I’ve been wavering on the “all and only fruit!” thing yesterday and today. I honestly have been missing my greens. This was a fun experiment but I wonder if I should go back to eating some veggies. I don’t know how to tell if that’s what m…

  • I’ve been eating LOTS of kiwi, avocado, cucumber, pepper, banana, apple, dates and oranges. Definitely not mono, but that is a good goal for later. Right now I am having fun just being fruity. :-)

  • It hasn’t been much of a challenge for me in regards to making that choice, but I have noticed that I am detoxing MUCH faster on only fruit, so that makes it more of a challenge for me in that light.

  • hey roadrunner ~ I’m near Boston. It’s JUST NOW starting to warm up a bit. I survived the entire winter completely raw with no real problems and noticed I actually started being able to tolerate the cold better, being raw. What I really need to do i…

  • Hey guys! My fruitarianism just kicked in again, and I think it’s for the long haul, The final straw was when I was talking to a friend about the latest in my raw lifestyle, just kinda commenting on things, when he said, “You know, you seemed to do …

  • You’re so inspirational! I love eating fruit more then anything else, that’s true! Do you know what though? I’m addicted to hot spices. I will eat romaine with cayenne pepper or cut up a jalapeno (technically a fruit) just to have the “spicy” kick t…

  • I’m mono-ing on apples and watermelon for the past few days. I can’t get enough! I’ve been eating other stuff too occasionally, like romaine, as I please, though I’m really enjoying the fruit.

  • I discovered through this fruitarian experiment that I do enjoy greens too. :-) I will still eat a lot of fruit, but I also see no more reason to avoid the green plant matter! Plus I feel like making recipes again. I’m glad I did this, and I may do …

  • I’m enjoying my fruit-only diet right now. Eating only organic fruit seems to have upped my raw detox. I feel very mellow, and I notice I have been having some detox symptoms, like feeling lightheaded or tired, which quickly vanishes if I only eat m…

  • roadrunner: do people gain any weight eating all fruit? I’d like to avoid that if I can. I do a moderate amount of exercise during the week, like biking and yoga, and sometimes running.

  • I am LOVING the fruitarian way of being! I really am; I’ve seldom felt so at peace with myself in my entire life. All I want to do right now is yoga, nature, read and write and that’s what I’ve been up to. :-) Roadrunner, I have also noticed that so…

  • Roadrunner, THANK YOU! That’s exactly what I wanted to know more about and to hear from people who have embraced this lifestyle full time. Do you eat non-sweet fruit as well, like cucumbers and peppers and tomatoes? I’ve just noticed that I feel SO …

  • Thanks for the info, people. I was hot on the swimming idea for awhile, but then I started thinking about the clorine, and since I’ve recently started cutting every chemical out of my life, I’m not eager to start interacting with new ones. I’ll chec…

  • Southernlover, I broke out all over my face the first couple weeks of raw, and that went away for the most part. Now my back is breaking out more. It’s definitely detox related for me. I just got some sort of mineral makeup from Whole Foods.

  • Nuts give me an upset tummy, even if they’re mulched to oblivion in the FP. :( Even seeds do this. It’s a bummer, because I like the way they taste and I’ve totally been craving them recently.
  • The same weird skin dryness happens to me sometimes on my face. It’s really annoying, but I use coconut oil and don’t touch it, and it eventually goes away. I think it’s definitely detox.

  • Hmm…I just noticed my friend has a pilates DVD that he doesn’t really use. Maybe I’ll ask to borrow it. I’d love to strengthen my core more. Right now I am just doing about 120 crunches a day, focusing on different parts of my abs, but that can get …

  • The thing is that garlic feels like a stimulant to me; I got all jittery and high-strung after I devoured my garlic-laden guac.
