  • queenfluff – LOVED THE MOVIE!! It so exceeded my expectations. Sarah Jessica Parker once said it’s meant to be a love letter to their fans, and I could totally see that. I don’t think I’ve ever been at the movies where women were having such a good …
  • AlyssaDyane – is this it for you??
  • Hey all, Day 5 and I’m going through the same thing as green girl, glad I’m not the only one. Woke up with sore throat again, have constant post nasal drip, achy and chilly…this is good RIGHT?? ericaswfs – sorry about the break but congratulations! …
  • cavegal – rough day here too on Day 4. My throat’s been a bit sore and I’m grumpy as hell. And hungry! A general word of advice to those on the cleanse – avoid the library. I took my daughter there yesterday and didn’t realize how noisy my stomach w…
  • Hey everyone! I also had good news this morning (Day 4) – slept through the night, and the tea finally did something good, more than clear liquid came out this morning which makes me think the cleanse is going deeper. My husband wasn’t as excited as…
  • Majomi – glad you got some benefits from the experience, thanks for the luck! cavegal – my dog eats raw dog food which comes from the pet store freezer except for the occasional woodchuck. frostbitfairy – how long have you been raw, or are you trans…
  • I’d love some of that energy you all have, that’s about a twice a year phenomenon for me. I can’t complain, not feeling bad. I did the maple syrup all day today and didn’t have any hunger pangs luckily. I’ve decided which super power I’d rather not …
  • I’m so grateful to find support here, and was totally thrilled to see Meditating keeping track, how cool is that? cavegal – around 3 movements after the salt water flush but they’re pretty much clear and colorful, is this the same for everyone else?…
  • queenfluff – sorry about the infection, hope it’s not too painful. As far as the poo goes, I don’t know if it really can be called “poo.” If clear liquid in day-glo yellow can be called poo then it is occurring everyday. I have done the salt water f…
  • Majomi and green girl – thank you! I didn’t have any episodes after around 11 so sounds about right. Unfortunately I did have a 2:30 am emergency wake up call, must have been the tea and I couldn’t get back to sleep for a while from the upset stomac…
  • Hey guys – I started today (or last night with the Smooth Move) and I have 2 questions if anyone can help: 1. There was quite a lot of activity in the bathroom after the salt water flush, my daughter got a kick out of me sprinting to the bathroom an…
  • Hey ladies – you’ve inspired me so I’m hoping to start on Sunday. I’ve ordered the original book plus a new one, haven’t arrived yet. What I’m not getting is the type of water you use. We normally drink filtered water through the fridge from town fl…
  • Hey! I don’t live in Finland, and I wasn’t born there, but I’m descended from Finns if that counts. Glad to hear the lifestyle has been helping you, hopefully you’ll find some raw foodies there. It’s nice to know the raw movement is reaching every c…

  • Is that good or bad? Curious to know how much you ate…..
  • I tried it in my smoothies for a couple of months and honestly didn’t notice any difference. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t doing wonderful things that I wasn’t AWARE of, but I didn’t feel any different. So I just use leafy greens now and save the $.

  • I hope today is a better day, take it easy. Emotional boosts are very helpful. I’ve never heard of Matt Monarch, so thanks Pianissima.
  • MOTH - so I see from above the cacao helped, who knows why, not me, I love the stuff. I’ll be curious to see how you’re feeling tomorrow, I’m hoping it will pass as quickly as mine has in the past. The only good news is it’s better than being sick i…
  • Hey MOTH, wow, that must have been unpleasant, to say the least. I’m at 10 months now, about 90%, so my experiences will be different, but I had the same killer headaches, aches and fever at least twice, each passing within a day. I haven’t had anot…
  • Chicagomama – that early tired period can be very psychologically challenging because you think you’re doing so well and you should be bouncing off the walls, but all you want to do is take a nap. It doesn’t help having the non-raws around you wonde…
  • He’s very big on the young coconut which I just can’t seem to master opening so I’ve been a bit limited.

  • awillow – coconut oil works great for me – extra virgin, I just keep the tub in the shower. Watch out if you have cats – Sarma at We Like It Raw said that her cats follow her around so they can lick her legs.

  • So happy to see you here! I came home today very tired and the first thing I did when I turned on my computer was to check Bunny Berry! Which is much nicer than checking the news which is what I usually do. Thank you for sharing your experiences, go…

  • Sounds like it’s been good for you!
  • Yeah, I’m finding them easier to watch on You Tube.
  • Ok, in your honor, I’m currently drinking a mint, lemon balm, sheep sorrel, dandelion, pear, mache smoothie with vanilla stevia and hemp oil. Just went out and picked most of it from the yard. The herbs make it very zingy. I’ll see what I can do. Ke…
  • Hey Luna blu! Can you explain this to me? Slightly brain dead today from being up with sick daughter half the night. So you’re going to have green smoothies for breakfast lunch and dinner for a week? Have you done this before? I’m very interested be…
  • So glad for you, I love your enthusiasm! You’ll find that most raw foodists are fairly isolated in the beginning, especially with family, but after almost a year being raw more and more of my friends and family are experimenting and embracing it mor…

  • I second what everyone else has said, very thankful to be back. Karuna – hope the books help!
  • shrk_byte – being tired is very very common when you’re starting to go raw. When you search the forums you’ll see numerous references to be tired. I was the same, and what worked for me and for many is just to take it easy and not worry so much abou…
