  • Week 2 on the Low-Rat Cleanse

    I am currently on week 2 of the Low-fat Cleanse and feeling great. This has been a wonderful cleanse to get me back on track. I especially love how Laura-Jane has the shopping list and day to day menu. I so need this with my busy life. After I complete the cleanse I feel that I can be consistent with writing and following a weekly menu to keep me on track. It is so hard for me at times because my husband is a meat and potato man. So - I do not have that much support at home. Then when I go to work - they sometimes have tempting goodies at work. That's why I love this community, it is mostly the only support I have for attaining to be fully raw. Thank you Laura-Jane for this wonderful place! You are amazing!

    Welcome and congratulations on choosing to going all raw. It is wonderful and this community is very supportive. Are you making smoothies and drinking lots of fluids. That helps to keep me going a lot. Also there are courses you can take here to cleanse your system. They work wonders. Eating apples and dates helps me to go also. Good luck!

    I am new to this forum. I have been struggling to lose weight and was recently diagnosed with type-2 diabetes. I need some advices on how to go about it. I have tried so many diets and exercises. Nothing seems to be working.


     Welcome Daniel,

    A raw diet is the way to go. Since going raw last year, I lost 20 lbs and feel great. When eating this way, your body gets to the weight it was meant to be without struggling. Although I stray from time to time, I can honesty say I feel better when I stick to a raw diet. You will feel so much healthier. Take it one day at a time, little by little. This is the place to be for getting you on to a healthier lifestyle.
