  • Chris, thanks for posting this. I’d like this to be an “sticky thread” to read it once an again: juat it raw & change your mind. You make this journey looking easier. I remember that the first things I read about raw eating were more similar to …
  • ok, thanks for the answers.
  • I didn’t know anything about prill water, thanks for sharing! I have been thinking what to do with my water (i have just a “brita” jar), and this seems a good option. Have you been using it for long? Do you know if prill beads can be bought in Europ…

  • I really don’t know how algaes work, but she had problems with her period (not coming, or coming just when it wanted) due to the thyroid problems, and after a week (more or less) taking algaes it came back, so she was really happy. If she has any ne…

  • littlebirdie – you’re right i’m know more consciuos about my eating choices and i know better my limits (i can handle some SAD foods in little quantities, but more than that i know now they bring me back discomfort and pains).
  • I posted about this same problem some days ago (“the good side of eating sad”). I think that my “social life” will be soooooo hard, nobody is raw, vegan or vegetarian, and everybody likes to celebrate whatever eating out! I have just learned that ea…

  • waterbaby1234567 – I’m one of those who talk about how bad they feel… and because of that your post is very helpful and enlightening!!
  • It’s so interesting to know how much fat people eat, because i was satarting to think that 2 avo and less of 1/2 cup oil was too much fat. Just because i only can compare my “practical diet” with “theoretical claims”. So knowing what people really e…
  • Thanks el-bo for the explanation. On other hand, i’m not agree very much with “our natural sweet tooth” assert, perhaps i’m so corrupted by my sad years but the sweeter (riper) the fruit the less i like it. Anyway, i’ll try to find my way and still …
  • thanks for G. Cousens reference (since i’m not a big fan of fruit i’ll try to read something of Cousens). What i don’t understand is why fruit is the main food in 811, why not vegs? nycgrrl, that’s a good idea: i want to eat raw, i’ll do it!!
  • Thanks for posting this. The question of fat is a mystery for me. I want to eat raw and controling fat isn’t my main problem right now, it’s more important for me to eat raw even if high fat. But, i really don’t understand the fat issue. On the one …

  • I feel better eating fruit for breakfast (oranges and cherries is one of my favorite options) and the all other things along the day. Anyway sometimes I take dessert made with fruit (berries usually + nuts).
  • sorry if it sounds like i was making a contrary point, perhaps i have had to link to the threads mentioned not just quoted. Here they are: http://goneraw.com/forums/3/topics/6242 (Feed the monster) http://goneraw.com/forums/3/topics/6266 (80/10/10 a…
  • repeated post, sorry
  • sorry, i did not pretend to start a moratorium. In fact, what i have been thinking after looking to those results is that if some greens have relative high percentage of fat, then wold be bad FOR ME to follow a diet with for example 25% fat? As I ha…
  • i’m not worried about that. in only 2 months my period has become shorter and lighter. and i have not PMS. i have noticed too a difference in my “vaginal flux/discharge” (? sorry my English isn’t good enough for “technical” words), the consistency i…
  • :))) I saw your “black potatos” after reading “veg=fries” that’s why i thougth “wow, that seems to be a special relation”. Ah, i love fries too, and i think (now) that even after 10 years raw i would still loving them… They must have a secret!!!!
