  • I doubt it, powerlifter....studies have to have funding..... :/ You can go by how you feel on fresh versus dehydrated if you'd like.
  • Wow, sweet, I'm really glad you found this! :)

  • No, I don't think you should eat buckwheat or buy gadgets to try to eat more processed foods.

  • completely my oversight and lack of being clear. :)

  • Rawcanadian, i was agreeing with you re: the post saying that fruit causing hyperglycemia issues, etc. :) Sorry that wasn't clear. I think if you're 80% raw by calories or better, your skin will probably be nice, but everyone is different. Small amo…

  • I don't see how that was good advice, and certainly not backed up by anything, either.

  • Mushroom is a fungus; tomato is a fruit.

  • I don't know, I don't eat oils or refined foods like that. Hempseeds are a little bitter. Just try them out if you want.

  • I would recommend putting fresh orange juice on your salad or getting fresh greens that aren't dry; or adding avocado, maybe some brazil nuts (just a few).

  • Actually, if you just ate whole foods without oils, you wouldn't mess up your omega 3 and 6 ratios; the ratios are perfect (and sometimes higher 3 than 6) for WHOLE FRESH PRODUCE.

  • Uhm, humans need carbs to live. Best source is fruit, in my opinion. There are plenty of high sweet fruit eaters who eat fruit meals and don't have glucose spikes; they have checked. You can go to 30bananasaday.com to help overcome your misconceptio…
  • This is a raw vegan site, maybe people on a nonvegan site could recommend using animal byproducts on their face/what brands for you.

  • Agreed, HIIT is great! I like distance running as well, but mine is usually low-mid distance. I'm not a marathoner, don't want to be.
  • I think DR promotes a high-fruit lifestyle because it makes sense to him and the nutritional numbers (objective) are there, as well as his blood-test results. It's not like he read Doug Graham's book, didn't try the diet, and started advocating it b…
  • Not yelling. why did you stay there? I would have gotten up. No one forces you to be around this guy or any abusive person. :) ;)
  • The people who have problem with fruits are people who eat too much fat. I know of no circumstance where someone was eating10% or less calories from fat and had problems digesting fruit or problems with blood sugar. You should get the majority of yo…
  • I did no-poo for like 4 or 5 months (?) I forget how long now. Did not work out for me, did not like the results, even trying the baking soda wash at times and vinegar rinse. I love my conditioner and shampooing a couple times a week.
  • Addiction. I believe you need to abstain for at least 3 weeks for the addiction to be gone.
  • Actually, make time to nourish yourself would probably be number 1.

  • Make green smoothies.

  • I would bring workout clothes, a yoga mat, some dresses and shoes, some toiletries. I assume wherever I choose to go (and make sure beforehand) has produce.
  • more fruit calories.
  • You're still addicted to the thought of eating buckwheat? Weren't you supposed to be mono eating? I can't believe this is being asked again. I can't believe it.
  • Fruits and vegetables are good, healthy, fresh sources of fatty acids that our body can recognize. If you don't eat cooked foods, oils, you don't have to worry about your 3:6:9 ratios being out of whack and trying to compensate for it.
  • Grapes don't cure anything of cancer. If anything cures itself, IT'S YOUR BODY.

  • that's a lot of fat you're eating with your fruit. plus sometimes the pesticides don't make you feel well if you're eating nonorganic. "sugar" doesn't cause an issue unless you eat high fat. (I think the person meants carbohydrates and not simply "s…
  • haha, where do you live sv3?
  • There is no "right" or "wrong" by the way. Do what you want to do and what you enjoy and that makes you feel best. Life's a journey.
  • I eat high-sugar fruits to fuel my body. Worry about nutrients and fuel first, size and weight later. Take care of yourself. Combination of squash, this and that, flax, coconut, spices, and dehydration aren't good for your health, at least not as go…
  • You can only tell the difference by going to stores that don't sell gassed bananas and/or you see how they are ripening. They should ripen with dots, even dots speckled throughout. If you see them ripening in stripes or in an uneven manner, don't bu…
