  • hey guys.

    Up to know, i had 6 bananas with oatmeal and cocoa powder. A lot of water and a herbal tea.

    For lunch i'll have a corn/carrot/olive/lettuce/cucumber salad

    Might have a fruit and a herbal tea in the afternoon and don't know yet about the supper.

    I'm new to the raw world, since last january. Actually, i'm trying to live it the best I can, but i'm actually on the 30 day challenge, which im on day 9 or 10 . I feel great! It's kinda hard for me because i'm living in central america. Well, not that it's SO hard, but I can't go to any raw restaurant or buy raw bread (already done) and it's hard to fine nuts and seeds, which are very expensive in my town.

    ANyways, I can get all these yummy fruits n veggies from the market each day, and I have a dehydrator which is helping me a lot.

    I have a few questions:

    What are you doing when a friend of yours invite you to eat something or in a restaurant and there's no raw food? Ok the thing is that i dont want to get in this very crazy thing to eat 100% raw all the time or not to eat if i'm invited somewhere, but i was wondering how you live whit this,

    And are you as crazy as me for bananas! Oh my god I just eat a LOT!!!

  • TOday I had 2 bananas with 1 zapote and cinammon for breakfast.

    Then i had a fresh orange juice

    I lunched 3 tiny oignon raw breads i made (mmm!) with mustard and tomatoes, and a salad with corn tomatoes oignons and cucumber with some spices.

    I've been working hard today, washing the entire house, plus the handwash of the clothes (yeah no washing machine in central america... ahah) and feel like going to the gym tonight.. might have a few bananas right now with cacao powder..

    and some veggies for supper

    So far today:

    breakfast: one zapote, soaked oatmeal, flaxseed and cinammon

    Lunch: 1 zapote, half avocado, 2 bananas

    I have a club soda right now with ice and tea, sorry bout that but its so hot in central america right now :P hihi

    And for supper dont know yet. I feel like i'm eating too much bananas these days. I feel like i'm eating good but maybe to many fruits... ?? Like i dont feel fat but i feel heavy and too-full, it's weird.. Maybe it's because I stopped smoking a few days ago and change the cigarette for bananas, so thats why i feel so full all the time...

    Anyways! I sleep very good and i'm happy so have a good day!

  • Hello!

    I'm on my 16th day of 100% raw and I stopped smoking a week ago, yeah! And I almost dont drink coffee ( I used to drink a LOT of coffee).

    Today I had about 8 small bananas, soaked oatmeal with a lot of cinamon and cacao powder, a zapote and a smoothie (papaya, cucumber, mint).

    I think i'm very full right now ahah so I was planing to go to the gym later and then have a salad around 7pm.

    I realized that I was putting some weight on while being raw. It's strange to me. Of course I was kind of skinny before, but maybe I go to much on the banana thing? Hum sounds strange to me.. anyways! I realized too that my body was changing a lot since I got raw. I feel more healthy and it shows physicaly. I feel like I have more tonus.

    i've been eating really healthy, but i dont have enough energy to exercise. when i first started raw, i could easily do an hour of pilates and yoga... plus walking at night. but lately i feel tired. do i need more protein?

    swayze - i think i'm eating enough. i eat tons of bananas, 7-15 a day, plus other sweet fruits. i think the reason might be i'm losing weight. but is it normal to also lose hair as you lose weight? i might have to up my protein intake just to see if it makes a difference, maybe hemp or chia seeds.

    today i had -

    9 figs dipped in coconut oil and stevia

    bananas (10?)

    cucumbers

    tomatoes

    some roasted black sesame butter

    2 more figs, 2 more bananas.

  • this is my 2nd day back after resuming my cooked vegan lifestyle. i forgot that my main detox system is extreme exhaustion for about an hour or two a day for a day or two. ugh!

    yesterday:

    coffee w/ sugar and soy milk (2 cups)

    raw revolution bar

    cherry tomatoes

    green smoothie - kale, banana, flax seed, hemp seed, blueberries

    raw truffle

    cooked dinner (brown rice, kale, seitan, low fat vegenaise, sriracha, carrots)

    today so far:

    coffee w/ sugar and soy milk (1 cup)

    apple

    almonds - about 6

    2 celery stalks w/ raw almond butter and raisins

    RFRW bunny spice drink

    Brkfst: small coffee, soaked integral oatmeal, 3 or 4 bananas, cinamon and cacao powder and flaxseed

    snack: small apple

    lunch: 1 zapote, about 6 or 7 bananas and cinammon

    I'll maybe have a cabbage salad with spinach and lettuce, with some greens for diner.

    I feel like starting a just feasting tomorrow for a week, but I dont have a juice extractor, so it might be a smoothie-feasting :P

  • I've only been back on raw for about a week, so I'm gonna jump in to try and keep myself on the path :)

    Today:

    Breakfast smoothie with 4 bananas, a handful of mixed baby greens, hemp powder, whole foods powder, water, and about half a tbsp coconut oil

    Lunch: 1 large cantaloupe (and probably some bananas later, I'm eating the cantaloupe right now so we'll see)

    Dinner will probably be raw nori rolls, which I haven't had in about a year and I'm happy to try again! I'm soaking sunflower seeds to make Zoe's Onion Cheese, which I always did love, and with that I'll add in sprouts, greens, tomato, and bell pepper. Maybe avocado. And a nice salad on the side with goddess dressing. I'm gonna have to break that Goddess dressing habit, it's a tough one. I'm sure there's an easy raw version, it's a simple recipe. I've managed to drop my organic rice milk but occasional sprouted bread and Goddess dressing (from Trader Joe's) are my non raw staples currently. I need a dehydrator so I can make flax bread...

     

  • 12 organic valencia oranges squeezed into juice YUMMY! as well as 1/2 gallon sized bag of RAW Popcorn with cayenne pepper added as I like a lot of spice!! Thats it so far today, but I am planning on a smoothie of banana and strawberries mixed with raw cocoa powder and raw blue agave and vanilla bean. for lunch dinner is going to be an avocado, tomato, and corn salad with black pepper and sea salt and i touch of olive oil . Also 32 oz of fresh made apple juice and 1 cactus cooler recipe from this site!! for drinks durning the day. PEACE & LIGHT Jodi AKA Chili

  • Oh I'm so happy I bought a "banana head" in the fruit market today, I have it in my house just like a banana tree I just love it, i'm eating wayyyyy too much bananas but anyway I'm just into it right now :)

    I woke up and had a glass of water with a bit of apple cider vinegar into it (i love this vinegar, it's cleaning my skin right now)

    Then I had a coffee (ok can't let it go!!)

    And I made a huge green smoothie with 2.5 cups of water, 6 frozen bananas (small-medium size), a part of cucumber and a big handful of spinach. Yummy, I'm drinking it slowly.

    For lunch I might have a big watermelon smoothie with mint. Then for diner i tought of an apple/spinach/lettuce/banana smoothie that I will drink when I will come back from the gym.

    I'm on my smoothie week, because I dont have a juice extractor so im on a smoothie feasting :P ahah

    Ok now I have to go and clean my house up and hand-wash my clothes

  • Started the day with hot water, then a green smoothie of melon, spinich and sprilina. 3 apples, then a juice of 2 apples, 4 carrots, broc, half a lemon, half a cuc and some ginger, had a snack of grapes. Tonight will have another juice with beets, carrots, spinich, lemon and some added chia seeds. Need the energy for salsa dancing tonight. Am currently trying to lose 14lbs by Xmas.

  • Today I felt very strange, didn't slept much, my puppy did an heart attack and died yesterday night.. oh my god I'm so sad :(

    I had a zapote and 4 bananas at like 10am

    I tried to make some sun in our day (me and husband) doing a summer salad with a lot of stuff: tomatoes, cilantro, cucumber, small corn, lettuce, spinach, cabbage, onion, sprouted green beans, avocado and a apple vinegar and lemon sauce

    We went for a smoothie in the afternoon in a new restaurant in town

    Then i had a little bowl of soaked integral oatmeal with 2 frozen bananas and cinammon

    I'm going at the gym right now, to kill some time without thinking about gone-puppy-L

  • I've been eating half a small watermelon for breakfast every morning this week and it's been great. I'm bummed they're off sale now :(

    Today:

    Half a watermelon (pre-workout)

    I glass water with Nutritional Yeast (post workout)

    Lunch will be a huge green smoothie with water bananas, strawberries, kale, spinach, maca, coconut oil, hemp, and green powder.

    Snack of raw almond butter on sprouted bread.

    Dinner will probably be another salad with avo. Maybe nori rolls on the side. It's easy to just wrap up part of my salad in seaweed. Sunflower seed hummus for sure :)

    This week on sale it's cabbage and broccoli so it looks like a coleslaw week!

     

  • Today I had

    garlic smoothie (1 clove of garlic blended with 1 c of water): I've had bronchitis and this does wonders for clearing the upper resp and stopping the coughing

    Spinach banana mango papaya coconut water smoothie

    2 oranges

    pistachios

    rawsta: zucchini pasta with raw marinara putanesca with "sunny parm" (ground sunflower seeds, nutritional yeast, red pepper, s&p) Yumalicious!!!

    Cup of sasafras tea with agave

    Yesterday for dinner I made

    Marinated portobello mushrooms--gently warmed in oven; soooooooo yummy

    mashed potatoes (not raw I know, but I couldn't resist--my goal is to be about 80% raw)

    mixed greens salad with tom, cuke, avacado and dressing of lemon, olive oil, s&p, onion & garlic powder & gomashio; fantastic!!!

    coconut water, banana, strawberry, mango, kale, cacao nibs, agave: loved this!

  • Today was such a great day, I just got new food and stopped eating only bananas like crazy..

    I discover a new fruit, its call tamalo oh my god its my new best fruit ever...

    so today:

    brkfast: coffee, 1 small tamalo, 1 zapote, 4 bananas and cinamon

    lunch: smotthie of 2 bananas, pineapple. Also had a small part of avocado.

    Snack: cucumber with tumeric and pepper, 1 greenpepper and 1 small tamalo

    Diner: salad of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumber, with lemon juice and garlic salt

    so happy to have a full different day! :)

  • Hi!

    I feel like I haven't stop eating today... I had:

    1 entire medium papaya (she was perfect)

    1 zapote

    about 4 small plantain bananas

    2 handful of peanuts

    1 part of the pumpkin pie I did yesterday

    I feel so full!!!!!!! I noticed that I was eating way too much when I was tired. And bored. And theses days, I'm both tired and bored. And have to get my period on saturday, so maybe that's why all these things are happening at the same time ;)

    I think I will try to eat my fruits in the morning, up to noon, then have veggies in the afternoon and night. The thing with me is that I can't eat normally. I have to full up myself all the time, until I feel that I cannot eat more. I'm not listening to myself and it's like if I can't do it for now!! Anyway..

    I'll have gym tonight, and I guess I'll still feel full after, so might not eat anything else before tomorrow morning... gotta find a solution for that..!

  • Breakfast:

    Chias with Chayote, Apples, Apricots and Pear.

    Nut Mylk: Coconut water, coconut pulp, Brazil Nuts

    Munch: spirulina cup cakes: spirulina, irish moss, water, agave syrup, carob powder, and goji berries.

    Lunch:

    Raw pizza crust: Wheat berries, sun dried tomatoes, flax seeds. Just like that hmm

    Dinner:

    Nut pate with sprouted spelt and wheat crakers.

    I did hand some cooked buckwheat noodles whit raw white button mushrooms and coconut pulp noodles, on a dark miso soup with cayenne pepper, and lemon grass! :)

    I taught 2 ashtanga vinyasa classes 1.5 hours each and a Flow for 1 hour! An did my own practice too!

    1 cob corn cut off the cob

    1 tomato

    1 bunch cilantro

    juice of one lime

    1 scallion

    1 jalapeno

    pinch of sea salt to taste

    Homemade guacamole

    1 avacado

    seasalt pinch

    juice of 1 lime

    1 bunch of cilantro chopped

    1 red pepper

    processed in food processor

    Taco nut meat

    1 cup almonds

    1 cup sunflower seeds

    tablespoon coriander seeds

    tablespoon of cumin

    1 clove garlic

    1tablespoon nama shoyu

    processed in food processor

    Corn tortillas

    4 cups of corn

    1 leak oops leek

    2 tablespoons flax meal

    Processed and put into dehydrator

    Alot of work but they tasted like the real think darn tootin!

    And I also had a chakra salad with purple kale, beets, purple carrots, in a mustard lime dressing....yummy.

    I have gotten really good at cooking. I am amazing myself with some of the creations that I am making. The colors are so vibrant in my food!

    And well, lets just say its color for both ends now huh?
