Charis's Thoughts

By Charis

Easy, quick, and perfect for those little sweet strikes. Sesame seeds are an incredible source of calcium, so enjoy! I make this for my Daddy (as you can see) all the time (He loves it and he’s not raw!) Enjoy!

Veggielina, the sesame seeds we buy are in bulk. It's cheaper and you can buy heaps more. Have fun with the sample size! ;)

I just made it. I just played with the taste cuz I don't think my coffee grinder's the same size as yours, but it turned out yummy. Yours is a lovely off-white. Mine is more beigy. I guess it depends what kind of sesame seeds you use. Thanks for this super easy recipe!

Yes, you could do that too...for myself, I find just oiling it is quicker. Hope you love, love, love it! :0)

Just a thought, you could use wax/baking/parchment paper instead of oiling the tray. That's what I usually do and it works great. This sounds great. I'm gonna make some too right away!!

You're cute Pianissima! Love it! Hope you enjoy it.

Samilicious, I'm not sure how long it lasts. We were gone on a 3 week trip and we just left it in the fridge. My Dad finished the rest of it when we got home. I think it's fine for a long while in the fridge.

that's "need of grounding foods" (and need of brain put back into head) =)

Not at all...just in an ordinary bowl and spoon. Of course, you need to grind the sesame seeds, but that was done in the coffee grinder.
