Recipe Directions

Carefully scrape the coconut flesh and pour the coconut water into a bowl and take out all the splinters and fibers then pour into a Blender, then add all the rest of the ingredients and blend to desired consistency. If you do not have access to fresh young coconuts then you may also use almond milk instead.

Ardesmond2's Thoughts

By ardesmond2

I got this from the RAWGURU site, and thought it was worth passing on. Me and my 9 year old raw daughter who painted the picture in the back had this for breakfast. This is truly a great smoothie. I am sure there are some things you could do to tweak this to make it your own. ( calling all RAWCLAIRE’s LOL) Try it you will love it especially if you are like me and can’t chew the goji berries.

I bet she is a cutie! My daughter is almost 4 and I am slowly transitioning her to raw. It took a couple of weeks but now she actually asks for her green smoothies.

sgmom2 yeah goji berries have an acquired taste. I remember when I got my first bag from "WHOLE FOODS" for $25 buck so i was forced to like them. By the time I had finished the bag I started to love them. And since my family doesn't do any seedless fruit AKA raisins. These have replaced them. Thanks for viewing my daughter art she is jumping up and down that you noticed it. RAW kids have so much energy I tell ya.

Talented little artist you got there. Smoothie looks delicious! I just hate the taste of goji berries, yuk! I am going to try it with everything else tomorrow. Thanks
