Recipe Directions

1. Juice the lilikoi fruit with a small hand juicer like a citrus squeezer.

2. Then place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth and thick.

The lilikoi really makes this drink! Very tasty!

I just added a new photo to share what a lilikoi (passionfruit) looks like.

Although you will get very little juice from the lilikoi, it’s potent and like a concentrate. A little goes a long way.

It’s tart, tangy and yummy.

In Hawaii, lilikoi is used in many types of sauces, jams, drinks, and so on. Delicious!

Yes living raw in Hawaii is nice. The garden growing season is year round. There is fresh fruits and avocados year round as well. However I miss picking peaches and apples off the trees and having them fresh. I gues a person can't have everything...

Tis true. When I lived in upstate NY, I loved to pick sweet cherries and crisp tart apples off the trees, or berries off bushes! When I lived in S. Florida, I had an abundant array of tropical fruits imported from Caribbean. Now in Idaho, pumpkin and squash, peppers and more are widely available. But I can't find half the stuff I used to have access to, and yet I have access to a lot I never did before!

Oop I hit the wrong button and I sent before I was finished. I believe they also grow in S. Cal, New Mexico, Mexico and S. states and tropical climates etc. You should be able to find them in like a Whole Foods Store. They are very tart, but that's where the pineapple kicks in for sweetness.
