Mix in a pretty bowl and enjoy. I also like to eat it over a green salad.

I sprouted some red lentils. They were very delicate sprouts. They don't do well shaken around but sprouted with a stem and a leaf in a few days. This looks great!

The green definitely sprout and were delicious in a salad or mixed with alfalfa sprouts, nutritional yeast, garlic powder and lemon. Very easy to sprout--rinse/soak 8-12 hours then rinse/drain, keep at 45 degree angle on sides of a large bowl, repeat 2-3 times--eat before sprout is longer than lentil...

For the red (I haven't tried the others) I just soak them overnight and then leave them out for a few hours. There is no visible sprouting, but they are soft enough to eat and easy to digest.

does anyone have any information sprouting/soaking lentils? The green that we sell [in the natural foods store i work at] looked like they would sprout, but the red are very small and i wasn't sure. If anyone has a picture of some that they have that definitely sprout etc, that would be great. I really want to start using lentils.
(:
